Happy Fourth of July!

The U.S. is 227 years old today.

*Blows off finger with firecracker*

Let's hope everyone has a great Indepedence Day and wish the best of luck to the men and women fighting overseas.

Sergeant_Scrotum 07-04-2003 01:36 PM

if only we could use the awsome firecrackers you guys have happy:

07-04-2003 03:31 PM

when i was a kid there was one called a M-80. that bad boy was somethin to see. it would blow the top off a trash can into the air like 10 feet. it would also take a mailbox off the front of a unliked neighobrs house..leaves nothing but a burn mark where the mailbox used to be. lol. it had a water proof fuse. you could tie it to a rock, light the fuse, throw it into a river or lake and it looked like a depth charge went off. lol. played hell with the fish too.

Captain Bunny 07-04-2003 03:58 PM

We get ours from down there. Unless they changed the laws since last year.

Ferich 07-04-2003 07:14 PM

You're probably buying the illegal ones here, I know a few guys that sell the big ones.

But normal on the side of the road tents, sell little pussy fireworks.

Strik0r 07-04-2003 07:20 PM

Old Reliable 07-04-2003 11:32 PM

michigan has laws against certain fireworks, but indiana doesn't. 4th is more than just fireworks......read the constitution and try not to be an ignorant american like most people!

07-04-2003 11:36 PM

in Kansas everything short of bottle rockets is legal (but who needs those when you have artillery shells)

11 Bravo 07-05-2003 12:02 AM

Fireworks are very strictly prohibited here in Colorado (forest fire danger is extremely high, as always), and the town's show is a fricken joke. New Mexico is close by. Oh well, I'll be blowin shit up like crazy here pretty soon. Claymores especially. biggrin:

Ferich 07-05-2003 12:04 AM

I'm just gonna run down the street shooting a revolver in the air like a maniac.

I'll be seeing you guys in 2 - 12 years..maybe 1 if I'm good.

Cpt. Obvious 07-05-2003 12:08 AM

i lit a bottle rocket today and it flew sideways into my neighbors yard and exploded about a 15 feet above his house. luckly it rained today and he wasnt home. west virginia has fireworks all except bottle rockets so i had to go to south carolina to get em.

Ape 07-05-2003 12:43 AM

A friend of mine bought two large cases of fireworks and firecrackers just up north in NH.

Saturn batteries, Roman candles, machine guns, M80s (I believe), you name it, he had it.

It was quite an interesting display. biggrin:
