The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

I no longer want to go visit Texas. Ive never been scared from a horror movie but this one definatly is the scariest one of all time. Maybe cause its based on a true story, its kinda like the blair witch project, but not fake and made by a home video camera. Just about all the girls in the theater shit their pants and one girl ran out of the theater crying and puked all over the entrance hallway. Id definatly go see it again cause in most parts your adrenaline pumping. The lepord face guy is awsome, and when you see that he put the face of one of the friends on (the main characters), it made me feel kinda sick. definatly go see it in the theater, it wont be the same in your house.

descry 10-18-2003 06:10 PM

i meant Leatherface

10-18-2003 06:26 PM

It's not a true story, it's just based on Ed Gein who wore the skin of his victums as a mask.

Judas 10-18-2003 07:10 PM

you talking about the new one ?

RaNgeR 10-18-2003 08:09 PM

Oh yea! that came out i forgot. Yea that movie looks very scary....and you're right, horror movies usually never ever scare me but that one looked like it would have. I was gonna go see it friday night but instead went to my HS football game and to a party afterwards. I love seeing scary movies with girls, they always cling to and burry their heads in your chest - and thats always good. also whats freaky about TCM is that it rly friggin happended. A bunch of college kids got lost and stopped at that house and you know the rest. anways thanks for telling me and remiding me about it coublaka

Art Attack 10-18-2003 08:19 PM

Thanks, I am gonna go see it next payday.

Pyro 10-18-2003 08:27 PM

i'm sure the original is still better and the Exorcist > TCM

antrichen 10-18-2003 08:32 PM

personally i like it when i get scared and bury my head in my girls chests. biggrin: but ya it did look like an awfully scary movie.

Fireal 10-18-2003 08:33 PM

please dont mention homecoming game,

i had to miss it damn my fucking arm.

anyways, the first one didnt scare me.
i went to killbill instead
IT: wierd movie

RaNgeR 10-18-2003 08:54 PM

sry about ur arm am. btw it kinda was and kinda wasnt my homecoming game. I just transferred schools and my new one had its homecoming and i went to the pep rally etc., but my old school just had their regular game.....and i went to that one because thats where most of my friends are at. it was fun.

and antrichen - i like to do that too biggrin:

Fireal 10-18-2003 09:06 PM

yea, i was gunna start as QB

Neo Nazi Hitler 10-18-2003 09:16 PM

The original was F*cking great!

At the end, this is the funniest part.

At the end of the oringinal, some black guy threw a rench at leather face and just started to run down the street to nowhere, and they never show where he went.

I just got back from the remake, 'twas teriffic. It had a meathook scene too, if you haven't seen the first one..

****SPOILER*****

There's this part where this guy gets hung on a lamp, and leather face gets his chainsaw and cuts up from between the legs...most painful part of the movie...

And this other part, this guy gets his leg cut off right above the knee, so after that, leather face hangs him on a meethook, and gets some thick salt on the wound, gets so paper and strings it shut. Than the guy tries to get off the hook, but couldn't manage to pull himself completely off and falls back on the hook..

****/SPOILER****

Lol. Did you know they were remaking Dawn of the Dead!? Also a great movie.

You should defenetly see the orginal of most all of the remakes..

I just can't explain it all. Great movie, Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

They never convicted leather face, because they could never find him.

EDIT: IT IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY. The chick who survived explained everything that happened, they just added soem stuff. Don't say it's not a true story (Insert name).

snipeymagoo 10-18-2003 09:17 PM

i was suppossed to see it, but my ride didnt come by tonight, im so pissed cuss:

Bucknub 10-18-2003 09:28 PM

hmm.. reading these posts makes me want to see it.

Jotun 10-18-2003 10:06 PM

i just saw it with my girlfriend....holy shit.....it was so freaky and disgusting, it made me feel like i wanted to shoot myself...the suspense and tension that builds up is ridiculous, i just kept thinking what if i were Erin, i would kill myself...NO ONE would listen to her...wow....good movie though...really gorey...but what made the movie was the drill sergeant from full metal jacket yelling GET ON THE FLOOR YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT and all that stuff...it made me so happy

10-19-2003 12:48 AM

Neo Nazi Killer, it isn't based on a true story. There was never a man named "Leatherface" that went around cutting up teens in Texas with a chainsaw. Sorry.

"Moies are always better when they are based on a true story."
The whole "Based on a true story" is just to sell the movie.

As I'v stated before, it's based on the serial killer Ed Gein. He only killed women. He cut off their skin and made a mask out of it, wore it, and danced around with it on. He also cut out their genitals and fondled it. He was also known to have consumed portions(sp?) of their bodies.

Once again - IT IS NOT A TRUE STORY!
Why do people find that so hard to beleive?

Tripper 10-19-2003 12:53 AM

....n00bs. It isn't actually a true story. Based on Eddie Gein. Look him up.

Way I remember reading about him - He didn't murder any stupid teenagers.

Maplegyver 10-19-2003 01:22 AM

movie hop

Zoner 10-19-2003 09:26 AM

I have to see this movie.

I loved the original. I'm glad to hear that it's still pretty mean and gory. Muhahahahahahaaa!

YourFragged 10-19-2003 10:24 AM

yah lots of people seem to think that this actually happened in texas.. i believe that the eddie gein thing happened in minnesota, and in texas they found a bunch of skeletons in the woods somewhere.. they put two and two together, made a plot, and sold a movie biggrin:

YourFragged 10-19-2003 10:26 AM

found a little somethin

geRV 10-19-2003 12:21 PM

Texas chainsaw massacre or "bubbas forest picnic"...

Think i'll go with the latter.

On a side note how many were actually killed with the chainsaw, when i seen the original i can remember like 1 killing with the chainsaw. oOo:

Neo Nazi Hitler 10-19-2003 12:38 PM

well it's hard to say. Because if they were hit with the chainsaw, they are usually just taken inside or something.

Only one pure chainsaw kill in the first one that I can remember. The cripple in the wheel chair, lol..

In the second one hm..

A few guys got hit with the chain saw, like 3.

But the one guy got hit beteween the legs with it and was left to die. So there's one. And the chick that didn't survive died from the chainsaw I think, yeah. And one guy got his leg cut off by it, than hung on a meat hook. And the other guy got hit with the hammer and his face used as a mask, Lol. So I'd say 2 people only got killed by the chainsaw in number 2. (the remake)

RaNgeR 10-19-2003 12:49 PM

Hmm, eddie gien....kinda sounds a bit like the guy in syracuse who built an underground bunker underneath his house and kidnapped/kept women there for years. That some freaky shit considering i live in syracuse, although nowhere near manlius (suburb). Oh yea, on the news they were saying he had a mass grave in his backyard.

Neo Nazi Hitler 10-19-2003 01:08 PM

they just caught that guy relatively recently.

10-21-2003 07:16 AM

If it's in Texas wouldn't it be the Texas Chainsaw Massecrer Massacre?
he'd get cut down by an AK, two M-16s, half a dozen shotguns, and about two dozen pistols of various caliber before he could pull the starter on the saw biggrin:

If there's one thing I love about those crazy Texans it'stheir methods of crime stopping fire1: fire2: M16:
