how did you all get photoshop
 

this is not a warez thread. please just state how you are now using photoshop. Adobe claims that piracy is really putting a dent in their business and says that more than %30 of their software is pirated

well not saying i dont use a legit copy of ps rolleyes: but adobe should blame themselves for charging so much for a program...at compusa they are charging 800 bucks for ps7 i could buy a freakin computer for that much.now lets say you use more then 1 adobe product your telling me adobe expects people to pay an estimate of 3,000 $$$ for a measly 3 programs.i think adobe should lower their prices and maybe more people would buy them instead of looking at the price and fainting.

I couldn't afford Photoshop 7 so I bought PS Elements 2.0. I think it was $99. I have downloaded the PS7 demo a couple of times. I love that program - tons better than Elements (duh, thus the cost difference). But as long as Adobe wants to charge $695 for it I'm stuck using the inferior product.

my copy is ...ummm ...yeah ...

and the plugins i use ..thay are ...umm yeah ...

i looked at buying PS ..but i choked on that $650 price tag ..and the plugins i use are priced from $125 to $250 ...so i would have been looking at over $1000 just to make sig files eek:

I got a Photoshop 3.0 CD in with some laptops I took in on trade for some labor I did. It crashes all the time on my XP machines. I guess I could pull out a WIN98 machine and try it.

I only have it on my machine at work. A spanky legit copy of PS 5.5!
