Al Qaeda delivered a warning today that Britons would be targeted with more atrocities after the Istanbul attack. In a statement claiming responsibility for the massive bomb blasts and the death of consul general Roger Short it said: "The cars of death will not stop."

The statement on an Islamist website said Britain would be singled out for its support for America. "Let Britain and its people know that its alliance with America will not bring it peace or prosperity."

It added: "Our real war, which will begin soon, will have no boundaries and will show no mercy towards the tyrant of the era and his allies."
They claimed Mr Short, 59, was singled out in the attack on the British Consulate.

The statement said the diplomat was the prime target because of his "extensive experience in combating Islam" and because he is considered the "mastermind" of British policy in the area.

Police sources in Turkey said they believe the Islamic militants who carried out the attack had been watching the mission to maximise the impact.

The statement, which is difficult to authenticate, was issued by a group claiming to be the Abu Hafz al-Masri Brigades, which earlier claimed responsibility for bombing two synagogues in Turkey last Saturday.

It said it had targeted British interests in Turkey to "shatter the peace of Britain ... which battles Islam".

yes actually I was kidding. I wasnt being serious cause the palace isnt really important and wont effect people much like the twin towers did although it has a huge significance and is a icon but it will be pointless to bomb. To be honest though I think it will be quite funny if they did.

Simple soultion to global terrorism....invade the middle east starting from israel and moving all the way east to india, kill EVERYONE that lives there, burn there shit down and leave nothing standing, take their oil and turn the whole mideast into a vacation resort for westerners, thus solving our economic and terrorist problems in one single grand offensive.

if we would have applied my strategy in vietnamn in the early 1960's we would have won, instead we fought a limited war that was more defensive than offensive and were restictred from really taking the war to the north, if we would have burned the jungles down, rolled in the tanks and started killing all the gooks that got in our way the war would have been over or and we would have won, unless the chineese decided to intervene like they did in korea....which might complicate things a little.
