NEED FOR SPEED: UNDERGROUND
 

Been playing it a lot the past couple of days. Kick ass game. a must buy if your into racing games at all. Even if you hate Imports it is still worth trying out.

Any one else like it so far ? oOo:

I hope the game allows custom paint jobs and cars. Now that would e pretty danm sweet. rock:

for a racing game it's pathetic. no skill involved at all. anyone can win a race...needs for realism with the cars.

It's need for speed. not gran turismo.. if you want realism.. play gran turismo

hold down x, turn at corners...thats it for skill for these type of games.

If your just going to keep bad mouthing the game, then don't post in this thread.

Never thought much of gran turismo myself, can't even damage the cars and sony uses the bs excuse that "the licensees won't allow it", strange how a lot of the same cars are in project gotham and they can be damaged. GG for lazyness sony. oOo:

I don't have it, but it does look pretty good.

I know the need for speed series has never been really realistic but trust me this game has some pretty danm detailed stuff. If you can't powerslide/drift or shift gears on time and properly then you will end up dead last. Try out the demo if you need a bit of convincing from te game itsef.

Yeah man I've blown my engine so many times lol, Drifting is so fucking hard with a steering wheel, I love it. I just now got ranked 10th on circuit.

waittill you get ot the 6 lap race for 7th in thye rankings. The computer plays catch up so bad its not funny. If you crash once you lose. No chance of cathcing back up

as for drifting use the miata best car ever for it.

no fin only a spoiler. If any thing it just help control the wind better giving more speed./ making the car more aero dynamic. The spoiler in game has no effect on the car at all.

It will create to much lift.
If its FWD, or 4WD it will have much effec.
If its RWD, it wont do much.

thta RSX looks like it took a tip through L.A. at midnight and stopped at a stop sign. As for realism and the hold down X and then turn around cornes it is real. Have you never seen a rice lover drive. Basicaly the same switch the X with a gas pedal and the directional pad with a steering whell throw in a real living driver and POW you got yourself realism ricer style gas it and go no need for brakes. They even say that in the commercial for the game if im not mistaken something like "brakes are optional"....That my friends is Ricer Realism. now a good site http://www.anti-rice.com

spoilers are for RWD, at high speeds the ass end of the car tends to lift, the spoiler on the end keeps the ass end glued to the ground

^ so true i dont brake in the game i only shift into second when i need to take a tight turn. Or power slide it if i feel fancy.
