I personally like bits and pieces of everything. how's about you?

I cant really specify on those, since theres so much i like..
I can chill to a neat jazz-tune aswell as a nice punk song..
Doesnt really matter to me..

You are missing some very important pieces previous to 1940.

for instance....

The 1920s became famous for the big band and swings sounds , not to mention the single most influential music of all time ..... Jazz.
And of corse original folk music that hit a high point in the 1930s and continues to this day. Such artists as Hank Williams and Woody Guthrie , you may be thinking these are country related artists but truthfully they are the foundation for all American music.

Quite honestly I can find a favorite song or sound in every era and style of music from all time. To include Tribal music of Africa , The Americas , and the Celtic war songs , to Rave and Modern Rock.

a little bit o' everthing, every decade has its ups and downs, its good and bad, basically if i hear something i like, i like it....

I went with the 80s just because of all the classic metal produced then. rock:

WTF?????? 80's = Huey Lewis, give me a break that was the hair bands and heavy metal era, that was it for me but I would include the Motown sound! temptations, tina turner, jackson 5 love that stuff. Motwon from Martha Reeves to Kid Rock!!!

most 80s bands were hairbands ... look at flock of seagulls ffs ... 80s and 90s are both good imo but i voted for 80s ... lots of great pop without the hip hop sound of 90% of most pop music now ...

Rock - 1982 - 1997.

Hiphop - 1988 - Present. (Just have to know where to look)

Rock 60s...to now...but mostly 60s and recent GOOD 90s rock and 80s rock...not really a 70s man.

Rap about the same as tripper.

I like 70's funk too. That stuff's the SHIT!

Rose Royce, George Clinton & The Parliament Funkadelic, The Brothers Johnson, Kool & The Gang, KC & The Sunshine Band, Barry White...all that stuff is awesome.

60s-80s classic rock.

70's porn music was great.

early 90's were the best when Nirvana came into the scene and killed all of the BIG HAIR BANDS music and started its own genera of music called alternative. man do i remember that. Nirvana KICKS ASS

Metal=Thrash, speed, death, melodic

Motley crew are not metal they are pop with instruments

70's = bee gees you are high. ever hear of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd. to name a few. 70's rock 80's metal

I like oldies from the 50/60/70s and I love metal from the late 70s and 80s like AC/DC, Guns n Roses, Quiet Riot to name a few. Nirvana is another favorite of mine, especially Lake of Fire and Smells like Teen Spirit.
