My mic works but i cant figure out where to plug it in in the back of my computer...any help?

.... The microphone slot.

First...fnd out the company of your mic

Second...go to company's webpage and look at User Manual

Third...plug it inthe hole

look for the pink or red slot on your sound card maybe.

Still aint working with bot my mics...just tell me what colors u plug urs into

It has a pic of a mic next to the plug

There might be a little ovally shaped kinda thing like a foot and a half down the cord from the mic, did you turn the sound up? oOo:

make sure you don't have your mike muted in the volume control panel

pink hole. Plug it in there. then click the little speaker by the system clock and make sure yoyu mic volume is up. Then check your program aka roger wilco/ or tS/ ventrillo etc etc. biggrin:

-thats only for usb and midi mics. not a plain old plug in analog mic. just plug and turn its volume up for a analog one (analog looks like a headphone jack type thingy.)

how far should i put my mic volume?right now its at half and i can hear myself breathing

full volume
don't have the mic right in front of your mouth
place it under your chin or to the side of your mouth

keep a normal non headset mic 11 inches from your mouth with your system volume set to half on the mic.

11 inches? don't forget to yell
