How much $$ do you have?
 

Normally I wouldn't ask this in person, but since this is an internet forum, and we're all anonymous to each other (for the most part), I was wondering how much you all have in your accounts. You don't even have to answer, you can just vote in the above poll.

I made the poll ranges quite low (below $2000) since I assume most of you here are still "relatively" young, and still receiving some form of education.

Checking: $700 (or so.. basically all of it going to car payment, insurance, cell phone, gas, blah blah blah)

I just bought a new car this past February, and that destroyed my savings.

At the moment - $0.00.

But when I sort out my IRD number (Tax Number), I'll get 800 bucks for two weeks work.

A lot more than what your poll goes up to.

Around $500 or so. Most of it will be gone when I make my trip to DC this Memorial Day.

I have over 2000 somewhere like $3,000

I had something like $3200 when I found out the less money I have in my account the more I get for college. I now have around 1700-2000 havent checked yet. But lets see. $120...$785...gas, lunch, yeah about $1700 I assume.
oh and Rannoch I hear ya on the truck. The $785 was $200 for insurrance and $585.15 for 5 brand new 33 inch mud tires. calmdown:

I just had $4000 about two months ago, but i decided to drop $2000 on my car payment and I paid a full year of auto insurance a year in advance. Christmas tanked my account a bit, but my tax return and money coming in from Sony for rellocating should bring me back up to where I can blow it on a new custom rig.

Yeah I'm sorry but thats a really bad poll. Anyone who has graduated from college and has a good job has well over the top amount on that poll.

I have about $65 or so in my bank account atm, but i make about $200 a week.

I got about $700 in there now, but by the end of the month, that'll be close to nil. But, I get another $1200 on the 1st. Lather, rinse, repeat...

I have about $1000 in the bank. I have my money invested. With tax time coming around I'm hoping to get around $6000 back.

Heh, Im not doing to bad for a working teen. Got about $2500 in the bank for my trans am when I get around $4000 Its all being spent. Ill tell you It sucks balls making $100 a week.

i worked in a dirty foundry making automotive parts, i was making $22 an hour, and i made about $52,000 a year, and i did that for four years. but now im in school and the money that i saved is going away fast, but i have enough for a while

I've got like $650 in my savings account (for gas, gas and oh, gas) . Then about $83 in checking. But I should get a tax refund of about $171, I worrked last summer and then I quit when school started, so I pretty much can only spend my money on Gas, I Tell'ya'what.....
