SoLiDUS 01-25-2004 06:23 PM

It has become my favorite movie. Everything is perfect...

"A perfect blossom: they are all... perfect."

Wilko 01-25-2004 06:52 PM

I heard it's kinda Crappy. Oh well.

Bucknub 01-25-2004 06:54 PM

Never Seen it

Zap. USMC 01-25-2004 09:11 PM

I saw it... it was alright. Give it an 8/10.

Stinger_Dude 01-25-2004 09:13 PM

I liked it alot. A guy who seeks himself and something to fight for, a way of life so he would no longer be ashamed off himself.

BlackJackal 01-25-2004 10:43 PM

i heard it sux

Airborne Butters 01-26-2004 12:55 AM

greatest movie..

Stinger_Dude 01-26-2004 11:55 AM

hearing it sucks and watching it and making your own opinion is completely two different things. I fully recommend watching this film.

SoLiDUS 01-26-2004 12:09 PM

The movie has a soul: something a lot of recent Hollywood productions don't.

Where do you draw the line between dying for what you believe in and dying
because of what you you believe in ? Is adaptation to modernization smarter
than stubbornly holding on to aging technology for the sake of tradition ? Can
the samurai ways co-exist with western ideas and nations of laws ?

Think about this when watching the movie.

Pyro 01-26-2004 01:05 PM

I was going to go see it with these two girls, but we kind of...messed up in the meeting place, they wer einside A&P when i thought we were meeting outside A&P. By the time we found each other the movie was 15 minutes old, so we diceided to go for an ice cap at tim hortons.

going to rent it when it comes on dvd.

elstatec 01-26-2004 08:06 PM

ja Zimmer has got be one the best soundtrack artist. He did the scores for The Rock, Thin Red Line, Black Hawk Down, Gladiator. All of them amazing as well.

Punky 01-27-2004 11:44 AM

Stinger_Dude 01-27-2004 08:04 PM

yeah goosebumps. Its like when you listen to his music you can feel the adrenaline or something. SLow pace and then fast pace beats in his style...DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN....

Zap. USMC 01-28-2004 08:21 AM

The Rock main theme gives me the goosebumps the most.. especially a minute or so in.

Short Hand 01-28-2004 08:42 AM

great movie... but overshadowed by LOTR:ROTK.

Punky 01-28-2004 09:45 AM

OMG we are talking about music and movies and people are actually having a descent conversation... You boys make me happy... :) The Rock great! The next one of his I will be "getting" will be Tears of the Sun... if you go to the http://www.mpsh.com/forum .. there is a clip of the music as it loads... I just sit there and click refresh... it is beautiful music..

Zimmer really knows how to get under your skin like you said with his beats and his use of Highs and really Low drums... makes my heart just wanna jump out of my chest...
