and my opinion, the movie doens't look like it's going to be even remotely funny.

Super troopers/ scary movie/ american pie/ old school/ road trip and now EURO trip. They are all the same genre. People saying one is funny and the other ain't is kind of one sided. Just weird oOo:

Not really. It doesn't matter if their the same genre, some are funny and some aren't. Thats like saying if you like one drama movie, you like them all. Most of the time it doesn't work that way.

drama is a lot more broad. teen movies (potty humour modern ones) are not as numerous.
