I skateboard and i have been for 2 years. Im 14 years old. Started a day after my 12th birthday... my decks that i had was...

1 -World industries
2- Zero
3- Blank board
4- Flip
5- Blind
6- World Industries
and my current board is a Alien Workshop... Really good board... it has a plastic coating and i like it... Mostly i like Wide boards cuz im good at it

I did for about a year when I was your age , but I sucked.....lol

So I gave it up , I have a few friends that still skate though. It is a funny sight to see a slightly over-weight guy in his early 30s jump a curb. lol.

I want to start snowboarding but the prices are too rich for my ass lol.. i hear snowboards are li ke 300-900 bucks, plus the goggles, boots, accessories and all that... that's like more than 500 bucks to pay when i get a snowboard... i dont have a snowboard, goggles and boots.

i got my board for 150 becasue the stupid south chinse forgot to put an extra layer ot stuff under the board to keep it sticky

i skateboarded years ago. we did it right in my day.

I agree completely, there's idiots here about 20-25 y/o walking round with skateboards for no other reason other than they think 'its cool'. biggrin: stupid: hake:

When I think of skateboarding I think of Bart Simpson, most people in Britland have only taken it up in the last 2 years or so 'because it's cool' to be a skater. oOo: How I laugh at those idiots

I hate all that teen tribal bs, I have never belonged to a particular group of people nor do I intend to, goths, skaters, chavs, etc. They all suck! I think it's pathetic. Far better imho to act as an individual.

I jumped a train one time on a skateboard, almost got me killed. When I landed I road my board down tracks that were on a hill , I did this for like 2 miles or something. After this I flew of the tracks and was about to land in the river when a boat with a piece of rope went by. I took hold of the rope and skied on the water till I came to the docs where I flew of the water to the top of a hill that I skated down to my house that was about 1.5 miles away. It was so awsome!

I used to skateboard. I really couldn't do much ... olly, kickflip nothign much else. I had a World Industries board. End of story.

I skateboarded because i got intrested and my other friends skate so i decided to skate.

Then you did it to be like your friends.

Actually, for like my 10th birthday, my grandma gave me a "wal-mart" Old school skateboard and i kinda got interested to it and my friends never skateboard at that time.
