they do it cause theres so many of them. The carcasses dont waste. teh yget eaten by scavengers so these guys are actualy helping the enviroment

I saw this for the first time several years ago. Not cool IMO. That guy is not a hunter, and has issues. I first saw this on a hunting board and there was no support for it there.

Fucking retard, why would someone do that to a prairie dog?! I mean Im usually not that mad about ppl abusing animals I shoot squirrels and stuff all the time, but why prarie dogs?! They arent annoying like squirrels and birds, I like prarie dogs, theyre cool to watch. And thats got to be illegal what hes doin....

Klling gophers isn't the issue. Its what you use. I mean, you're not going to execute someone on death row with a phalanx cannon, or a stick of dynamite, right? There are more appropriate means to get rid of gophers. They use things like gas and such. Your supposed to cover up the holes they dig and stick a gas thing whatever they call it in the hole and cover it up. So I just think its the method.

imo, that shit is fucked up. no animal deserves to die that way. especially with a 50cal sniper rifle. that guy does have issues, as he isnt hunting for anything but the pure enjoyment of seeing dogs getting their bodies blown the fuck. if your going to hunt, at least do it for food or something that has a use.
