Splinter Cell - Pandora Tomorrow
This is for Xbox, anybody else getting it? It looks fucking sick.
|
If I had an XBox I might...heh.
I read somewhere that the multiplayer mode only supports 4 players? Or is that for some PC version...if there is one. |
It's said to have a single player that feels like an expansion pack to the first one...but with a really good multiplayer game. I'd like to see how it is after my friend buys it. I have too many games to beat already.
|
Yes, it is only 4 people. Ubi Soft said they wanted to keep the aspect of stealth in the game. So there's two splinter cells, and two mercinaries. And the splinter cells have to capture the mercinaries and incapacitate them without killing them. If they had a bunch of mercinaries, then they could just run around lighting the place up. I can't wait.

Oh yeah. I love the stealth/espionage type games and this one is King in my book. The original SC was one of the best games I've played and hopefully SC:PT will be even better. I'm going to pick it up for PC though, not XBox.
The only thing I see that kinda sucks is the 4-player max during online play. I don't see why you couldn't have more than that. Either even teams or more terrorists than operatives would be cool. Say 16 vs 16 or 6 operatives vs 26 terrorists or something like that. |
Stealth, eh? Hrm...I have a feeling that would irritate me after a while. I guess the whole game would probably irritate me, then.
I'm not big on games where you hafta sneak around like a mouse or you set off alarms and have to start the mission over. That drives me nutzo. |
Megal Gear Solid for PS will always be my favourite steath game.
Good story, great characters...everything...Physcho Mantis is the coolest boss I've ever faced. |

it looks fooking great, doesnt it come out on the 3rd?
|
It's already out for XBox and PC.
|
graphics look a little better
mp should be awesome, xbox live is fuckin huge now the idea is that the 2 different teams have completely different tools and styles, like the mercs have motion detectors and can set off alarms, while splinters have the usual armament and gadgets makes me with i had an xbox-- doom3, dx2, sc:pt, etc etc |
I'll definatly be getting this...the first one blew me away...I loved it so much, it was a great fucken game...and this looks to be just as good, if not better. And with MP, im sure it is better wink: .

|
I just got it today and started playing it alone in a dark room. Then I started walking around and didnt have my heat sensor googly things on and walked in the wrong blace and got BLoWN TO FUCKING PEICES and it was loud as shit too. I got scared, so I'm not playing it for a while. I think my heart just settled down.
|
i got it. i only played single player for a bit. it seems to have a little bit more realistic physics. kindof like MOHAA to Spearhead, it just feels different but its great.
Multiplayer kicks ass. Mercenaries: first person view, you have to lay traps and stuff, it can be hard but its still fun. Shadownet: awesome but you actually have to be really stealth, you cant afford to get in a gunfight. it is so cool to shock someone then sneak up and snap their neck. thats the only lethal way to kill someone. my advice: go buy it |
i am going to get it when i've read a review
|
naaa i dont really like it, too much trouble to play multiplayer. and MP isnt that great either.
