Brushing Your Tongue
 

i typically do this but really try to do it when i ve been drinking a ton of coffee ... but today, i think i fucking brushed my taste buds off or some shit. .. when i eat it feels all scratchy on the back on my tongue and i cant taste coffee for shit ...

I use a tounge scraper

Lately i have because of the increase in cigars i've been smoking.

They'll grow back. And your taste buds die and rot and are replaced with new ones every four years.

I thought it was every 7 years.

All your cells in your body replace themselves every 7 years.

Well it takes 7 years for ALL of the cells to be replaced. and than after so many regenerations the telomeres wear down and that's where aging kicks in.

Yes, every 7 years, your entire body replaces all of your old cells. This is generally why you don't take a new photo for a drivers lisence for every 8 years, because unless you gain/lose alot of weight, you really won't change appearance that much.

i always brush my tongue, and my cheeks, habit i guess...

I thought you were supposed to brush your tongue everytime you brushed your teeth? I brush it when i'm doing my teeth.

I brush my tounge after I brush my teeth and the roof of my mouth. I think I read somewhere that a huge majority of the bacteria in your mouth resides on your tongue.

True. One of the major reasons people have bad breath is because they don't brush their tongue.

yeah, you can see it most of the time. Brushing it off usually solves alot of problems with breath.
