Rugby
one of the least talked about sports o nthe forum, does anyone play here? i play for the school team. as a flanker cool: rock:

I used to be a hooker at school I got paid £5 an hour

never played it. I live in Pennsylvania so we don't get exposed to Rugby around here. I'd like to try it out though sometime.

stfu Almost every PA college has a rugby team. All i know about my school's team is that they could drink anyone under the table. |

All i have to say is, it has never really been "forced" upon us as a sport. You'd have to go elsewhere to play the sport which requires initiative which half of teenagers don't have. |

since the hockey season was over this year, i tried out for my school's rugby team and i made it..i played for it for about 4 weeks but then quit because i joined the soccer team when it started up and i couldnt play both. i like rugby but soccer and hockey are my favorite sports to play.

I would but my school doesn't support rugby like my old highschool did sadly. : (. I was offred a spot on a local Burlington Team thugh, never took them up on it instead I decided to work full time baker at Timmy's for a summer :)

Yeah, I've been playing rugby since I was a kid...
Ruggers is NZs national sport, and easily the most popular in the country. I play Lock, used to be a back, back in the day... GO MUTHAR FUCKING ALL BLAX! |

Rugga ragga
Cricket takes alot of skill, I used to play it at school, its also alot of fun.
As for Rugby, used to play for about 6 years for my local town, never got seriously injured thankfully. It does require skill and is alot tougher than american football ie; no padding, helmets, etc but most people know that. Me and Eight Ace used to tackle each other all the time, mostly when the ball was nowhere near......*blushes* Fluffy, how did you get paid for playing for your school? eek: |
