its nice to see that your throwing your first vote away

Short Hand 05-26-2004 09:56 PM

I would vote NDP but their support is to low. SO Martin of Course. The day the conservatives take parliament will mean civil uprising beer: . hARPER IS nothing but a mud slinging, Cash Whore ffs. He will privatize public assets, Bow down to American policy. I really hope he doesn't take The PM status.

elitecloud 05-26-2004 09:56 PM

there's always the next 4 years.

Canada has an election coming up on July 28.

I will vote Conservative since Liberals will win, but I will do my part to create a minority liberal government. Liberals are only going to get 40% of the vote or so. NDP will get 25% and Conservatives will get 30-35%.

I would never vote for that pot smoking, cock sucking Jack Layton. I'd rather vote liberal than him.

Duke_of_Ray 05-26-2004 10:11 PM

I hope I get to vote, my B-day is Oct. 25th, and that is when I will turn 18. If I do get to vote it will be for El Presidente Bush!

Coleman 05-26-2004 10:24 PM

Harper won't win. I'm not so much as voting for harper as i am taking away a vote from martin. Thats how I see it anyway. I suppose if the conservatives had a chance i'd still vote harper in order to see a different government.

Coleman 05-26-2004 10:37 PM

how'd this turn into a canadian political thread?

What kind of election? Is it for the PM or the legislature?

heil the canadian conservative party! maybe if we get a conservative elected there we can actually have an ally we can rely on, i still can't believe canada turned her back on the anglo-saxon alliance....for shame, the uk and austrailia have always been faithful atleast.

ninty 05-26-2004 10:38 PM

Federal Election - Prime Minister

Those votes represent seats in the House of Commons. So I gues it's a legislature vote as well.

intrestedviewer 05-26-2004 10:40 PM

omg all of u offtopic: biggrin:

TonyMontana 05-26-2004 10:49 PM

the liberals believe in keeping the hell out of iraq, im voting liberal

SoLiDUS 05-26-2004 11:29 PM

Your elections are reminiscent of KANG and KODOS from the Simpsons:

Dole[Kang]: "It makes no difference which one of us you vote for. Either way,
your planet is doomed -- DOOMED!"

Pyro 05-26-2004 11:34 PM

Kerry for USA

A conservative government would ruin Canada, we are Canada not the USA and the conservatives platform or whatever you call it is just like the USA...and look what that got them...

Layton is druggy? Almost makes me want to vote for him...Liberals are gay...but only provincially...i'm fine if they run the country just I hate dalton mcginty and thought ontarios premiership should be conservative...but federal...no fucking way.

ninty 05-26-2004 11:59 PM

I think its on pottv.com or something you can see him smoke pot. oOo:

Our conservative party is nothing like the US conservative goevernment. You do know that Canada is an independent country from the US and have our own issues to deal with, right?

Both of those comments are true for me as well.

Drew 05-27-2004 05:49 AM

I'm voting Bush.

Yes, I know he's not the best candidate in the world, but he has a good, seasoned staff and he's not a wishy-washy prick.

John Kerry has absolutely no backbone, nevermind the fact that he wants to practically turn the US into a Socialist state. Strength of the Canadian dollar, anyone? Yeah. We're capitalists. Maybe he missed that part.

And Nader? Well, Nader is just a fucking crackpot. But I do love him for spoiling the election for the Democrats every year.

KTOG 05-27-2004 05:57 AM

Both canidates suck big time...chances i'll not vote or just vote for nader or some 3rd party canidate that won't win.

Infection_Smith@ 05-27-2004 06:05 AM

vote 4 green!

Old Reliable 05-27-2004 07:24 AM
