Have you read Tim O' Briens, The Things They Carried ?? or how about Dispatches by Michael Herr? They are both books on Vietnam. Just wondering, cause i have a test on both tomarrow oOo:

Anyway...have you read them yet? I'm looking into getting a bit of literature on war. Just wondering if you'd recommend them.

I've read the things they carried for school. Im not a reader but it was a good book.

Can you remember a common theme? or anything in particular you think would be asked in a test? biggrin:

Yup well i read the first 30 pages of both books, took the test. Turns out he only asked us what 3 main themes there were on "Dispatches." I think i got it right oOo: Hope i did, but its a good thing the bulk of the test was on the conflict in Vietnam in general. Me thinks i passed the class, Woot! biggrin:
