VERY small, pretty town sitting in the valley on the other side of the mountain from me. i think the population is like 3,000 or so. from what i could tell about the town it looks like it is pretty much surrounded by mountain.

i like um. Try some brush ligthing effects, like brushing in more bold shadowing, more emphases(i know i spelled that worng ugh..) on the lighted sections give it more definition to the photo's, they look great already but try and turn them into master peices.

... while doing that kind of stuff is leet (ive heard "this is art" so whatever you want to do , do) but there much debate over making the picture look like the scene you photod (i think) and the manipulated versions. believe me, i print at least 4/6 versions of every picture and would probably do more , but the papers isnt cheap so ...

25 sheets = 15.00
50 sheets = 30.00

ill let you do the math :|

so its not cheap to just print and print and so on ...

i pretty much just expose for what i remeber i saw.

Maplegyver 06-20-2004 09:18 PM

Art Attack 06-20-2004 09:47 PM

im not saying brush them like i do to a lot of scens, or even print them out, just try it for fun to add manual lighting effects themselves, no brush strokes etc etc, all i meant was make things darker and brighter, if done right you can't tell that there was any lighting brush job done at all. You don't see the strokes when doing ;ighting effects, only thebrightness and darkness they create which has no specific shape when done properly.

Kemikalie 06-21-2004 08:07 AM

i like them alot. good job judas. getting my pics out some day soon, cant get my scanner to work.

anti 06-21-2004 10:44 AM

i like judas, specially the 2nd - it has a smooth rhythm to it. the first has some nice shadows that work well. i would have tried burning the first in the top right corner, just so you can differentiate between frame and picture.

anti 06-21-2004 11:11 AM

these were some of mine from school assignments. film speed was a bit low, causing the prints to be a bit grainy.

anti 06-21-2004 12:14 PM

Himmler 06-21-2004 12:52 PM

Sorry, but can someone please explain to me exactly what you guys are doing in these pictures? They sorta look like just normal b&w pics to me.

35 mm slr cameras
black and white 35mm film
developed to negative
printed on black and white paper

i havent had color photo and im not sure if i would like it or not. black and white seems to be more elegant to me.

im taking a bnw photo course so i get to use the lab for the next week or so :(.

after that i dont know what im going to do. ive looked into the equipment and it doesnt seem to be TOO expensive (at least on ebay).

im also not all that sure i want to continue learning about photography. its pretty fun , but i think i prefer painting and drawing as an art form.
