I was up at 6am this morning watching "The Chris Matthews Show" since i'm now an insomniac. A poll showed the Americans view on the ban on homesexuality via political affiliation:
For Banning - Against Banning Republican: 72% - 18% Democrat: 60% - 40% Independent 48 - 51% I found this quite shocking that people still suffer from homophobia. All i can say is become friends with one homosexual and your views will change 100%. The biggest problem is that most homosexuals don't live in conservative communities because their kind is not accepted. If homosexuality was more prominant in these bible belt areas, then it would not be a problem. |
