Read the manual, uninstall nvidia display drivers.....Don't do anything until you're 100% sure it's the right thing, don't want to waste 250 dollars or whatever.

http://www.ati.com/ for drivers.

Scalping Chief 08-04-2004 12:37 PM

take it to a computer store and get them to install it

oOo:

Save some $$$, learn how to do it yourself. It's simple.

Machette 08-04-2004 12:59 PM

Why would you need to use the power supply cords for a video card?

Doesnt the 9800 require you to plug it in the power supply?

If you don't want it to overheat, I believe the power is for the fan.

WTf? just put the card in the slot, plug in power

put in the CD that came with it, unless you got OEM version, then go to ATI.com and get drivers

i hate how people assume everything to do w/ computers is complicated.... should take like 5 mins max...
