Most reviews can suck my hairy ass, this is the kind of game thats better on a pc because of the control scheme.

Lucasarts fucked up the multiplayer options pretty bad. You can't change the kill limit of the maps, so every 10-30 minutes ( depending on the size of the map ) the map'll change. You also can't change bot ratio ( more bots on the enemy team ). The bots are some of the smartest I've see in a while, they cover eachother, issue commands to eachother, and jump in vehicles.

When me and Strik0r played coop yesterday, I had one helluva time trying to find him on any of the maps. There's a big green "STRIK0R" over him, but I can't see that or him from long distances. I need to be like 10 meters away. The minimap also doesn't indicate other human players when they use voice commands, whatever. Now, remember this was just 2 people and I consider my connection quite decent but strik0r had about 150-180 ping. oOo:

Singplayer is fun, with all the different modes...but some of the modes seem pointless.

Graphics are pretty and not too demanding.

It's a good game if you like Bf42 and Star Wars...other than that it needs a patch for the Multiplayer options/features and netcode.

I never changed my video options from the generic. Only changed res to 1024.

is there much vehicle whoring? Im assuming its like battlefield, everyone charges for the tie fighters or what have you and seconds later slam into a wall that was nowhere near them thanks to their leet piloting skills.

Nevermind they're all on high with 2xAA and 80% viewing and LOD distance. Yeah the vehicles are definately whored by the bots, but at the beginning of every match you have a few moments botfree to run to a vehicle. There's voice commands( aka F3 or something, not voice as in microphone ) to get vehicles controlled by bots to stop. The planes usually get shot down after awhile by AA fire or the bot has a brainfart, so there's a few once and awhile. But with the voice commands it's not really a problem.

I have yet to play on an all human server, but I'm sure there's vehicle camping problems as with BF. Just play with the right people.

There's a lot of NPCs ( non playable characters ) running around. Jedi, Ewoks, Wookies ( although you can be a class of them ), Sith, Those flying guys from Episode 2, Gungans,etc.

The jedi/sith are somewhat hard to kill, but strik0r tossed a few grenades at Vader and he went flying. Pretty funny stuff.

For games like this i usually get the console version, plus i got xbl so im good to go. Im probably gonna rent it first. Then if i like it ill buy. Also, ferich, i was surprised to hear you say the ai was good, i read a couple reviews that said it was horrible. oOo:

I don't see how it can be horrible when they do exactly what the human player can do and do exactly what I tell them to do. They even give orders to eachother at the right moments. When a Tank shows up "TAKE COVER" when they approach a flag "SPREAD OUT" They're quite intelligent if you ask me. Here's some more screens.

I'm having alot of fun with this game. I think the Galactic Civil War is alot tuffer then the clone one. At first it was a cake walk, but then I got in trouble on Hoth and Bespin. Still working through it now
