problems on the hunt
 

well i have a problem on the hunt... it lags like you cant believe and it only does that on the hunt no other map... and it didnt do this b4, im running the latest version and i dont know what the problem would be

Is the problem on your server, on one specific server, or all servers?

When you say your running the latest version do you mean a version besides the version that came with the game? If so remove it and see if you still have the problem.

to help you with your problem, you might have a bad computer that cannot handle the hunt, as it is a little more graphically complex then some of the other maps. what are your specs?

no, i think its stupid how you do post your opinon in this thread, noone cares about it and you are not helping the problem at hand AT ALL. keep your opinions out of here, unless they are asked.

i really don't care if someone likes or wants my opinion. i give it anyway. what is it you see when someone puts up a skin that they worked on? or a lil conversion mod that someone and their lil team of modders whipped up? or scripted a different sort of weapons mod? you see 2 things: praise & criticism both of which fall under being opinions. this is what i love about aa.com. anyone can give their opinion on something but it sucks that i give my opinion on a map and my post & opinion get called STUPID. so all in all i have nothing else to say to you himmler except that everyone else give their opinions. like it or not mine will be heard so unless you're a mod who has a problem with me or what i post, then please do me and everyone else who do post their opinions a favor and pay close attention to these four words:

the problem could be your computer's vid card. my 1st one burned out.when i 1st got my pc i played moh perfectly. 3 years later it burned out but before it did any server i'd go into lagged like a mofo. my ping stayed low but my movements were extremely choppy. maybe you should update the drivers on ur vid card or just get a new one.

lol hunt worked fine b4 but now all of the sudden it is doing this, and i dont think it is my comp and im running absolutely no mods. and hunt is my favorite map IMO so i do care.

1GB ram
GeForce 4 MX440

I know what your thinking a mac but it is not the computer, the comp always ran mohaa fine no problems.

cool. you like hunt and thats your opinion. im not gonna flame you for it nor call your opinion on if you like it or not stupid like some other ignorant asswipe on this forum. macs are powerful computers and you definitely have enough ram. since you say this hasn't happened before, do you have things on your mac that is backed up on disc? maybe you should try formatting your mac and see what happens.

Reformat your computer. When you install the vid card get the latest drivers from their website. install the game and your all set. All computers build up a certian amount of shit over time. I reformat about every 6 months. Its a pain the ass but your computer will always run just like the day you built it...or bought it.

there is absolutely no need to reformat windows.

1)Defrag you computer about 2-3 times,
2 download, install and run spybot search and destroy and adaware (these will get rid of any spyware.
3) update vid driver,

If it still doesnt run properly
4) reinstall game.
