What can we do to make GFD useful?

I thought of sending money to the person with the most money by Dec. 25.

I'm new to this "Forum Store" concept. I wonder what I could slap in a store. Any relevant and realistic ideas?

Someone mentioned giving the punters the option of putting custom "ranks" under their names. (the Private/Military Police/General of the Army things)

Possible concepts:

. VC.net uses items (small icons) ranging in price from a simple 1 dollar to several hundreds of thousands.
.. The icons are everything from guns, tanks, music instruments, ect.
.. Icon creation is subject to approval and is rewarded with payment.

This is a very awsome system, put togather by WR, Simo, and Bian.


. Personal ideas

.. Money could buy selective avatars, signatures, or other graphics
.. Money could buy access to specific usergroups, or hidden areas of the forum.
.. Money could buy alternative themes or specific smillies.


If I come with anything else, I'll post.

Zen, buying custom avatars and things like that sounds like a good idea.....until you remember that people can (and will) use right-click>save image as to thieve the pictures.
