Captain Jack Sparrow was one of the most original characters I've seen lately...and original characters are hard to come by in this day and age of cliche films and stereotyped main characters...

Tom Cruise's character, Vincent, in Collateral is another original character....It blew me away to see him act in that film...

First one was excellent, prob this one will be decent and or straight sent to Disney Dvd! oOo:

First one was OK. I think it was overhyped way too much. The rest iof my family seemed to enjoy it more than me.

I really liked the first one. The music was great, and I cant remember a cooler naval battle scene. Sure not exactly realistic, but still very cool. And the 1vs1 duels were pretty well done too.

I thought the first one could have been good if they would have cast sparrow as straight.

it was pretty cool, ill have to think about seeing the sequels considering most suck.

Without Depp, POTC wouldn't be close to as good as it was.

Nonetheless, it was a good movie and the sequel will have a lot to live up too.

Anyways, I think the storyline of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 goes somehing like this: Elizabeth gets "kidnapped" right before the wedding by an evil witch lady (or something like that rolleyes: ) and they have to try to get her back.

Anyways, that's just what I remember off of the top of my head ... I'll try to find an article somewhere ...

The composer is Klaus Badelt, the same person who made music for equilibrium. Also very well done.

the soundtrack kicks ass. indeed on the raping. who cares as long as there is a sex scene in the movie. then i would see it in theatres.

I'm gonna see it just for Keith Richards.
