Need real player or windows media to watch.

Seen it earlier today. Nice design (except for the power button being at the back) but I won't be buying one. The iPod Shuffle looks shit though.

rock: mac rules. im not going to get one. maybe when i go off to college and need a small desktop. but ill probably just get the top of the line notebook.

this could open up the world for other potential mac users though. people have wanted a cheap mac and this is their answer.

my ipod was like £300 about nearly 2 years ago. but you ghetto players can keep rocking the creatives and the zens all you like spank:

ipods are priced outrageously, the nomad zens are priced just right. 30 GB one for $159 at circuit city.

its pretty cool, i mean, you still need the rest of the computer but its still very nice. pretty affordable too. very little chance ill get one though

The Shuffle is a rip-off of Creatives...sorry, but I forgot the name.. little player that plugs into your computer. I doubt anyone would get one for its hardware capabilities. More just for style. Otherwise, its a piece of crap, from the looks.

Suprised they drool over anything mac based at all, only thing they really have going for em is the ipod. eek:

The reason ipods are getting crazed attention is because of what itunes does, its easier than the creative program and it allows you to download music off it as well, for cheaper...I think

lol, no. Its because they look cool. Im dead serious. Theres a ton of kids at my school who want one, just simply because they look cool. They're like cellphones in a way. Everyone needs to have one, but no one actually uses them. Half of the kids who want an iPod dont even like listening to music.

im pretty sure a shit load of multimedia folks use them.

this is only from my experience. most of you are gamers here so windows is more suitable for you.

the mac OS is. if you want to get all technical then its Mac > Pc. but whatever floats your boat.

In what ways does mac > pc? If people are gonna use the usual" omg it doesn't crash" well thats not really suprising seeing as hardware and software for the mac is pretty thin on the ground, with pc's you've thousands of different programs and pieces of harware, then you have all the associated drivers that may have incompatibilities with a given program driver or piece of hardware.

Macs may be good for video editing but id take premier pro over final cut anyday. And when it comes to gaming, no contest, pc's slap the shit out of macs in that department. Upgradability? pc wins that as well, the only real advatange apple has is its os is a bit more stable and for the reasons outlined above it would be pretty sad if it wasn't rock solid seeing as the macs don't vary all that much in terms of hardware etc.

no i wont take the usual omg windows sucks cause it crashes soo much. rolleyes: . I dont like it just because the mac system is easier. I have nothing against windows. I just prefer mac.

Meh they wont go under even if anything fails Microsoft still owns em.
