WTF is wrong with today's weather patterns? Today we had our final band practice outside and no one could play at all...literally. Our horns were all frozen. Here are some pictures of my mouthpiece. My lips got stuck on it so i tried to pull off my lips and they started to squirt blood everywhere. The blood freakin froze instantly! I then spit on my horn and then that froze instantly! I know you canadians have it alot worse, but this isn't supposed to happen in eastern Pennsylvania!

How is it my fault that I'm playing with a metal mouthpiece? Plastic ones are shit. It's not like they can make ones out of wood or anything special. Plus, we couldn't play (mostly because of this reason) due to the valves sticking; they were jammed and didn't open until we went inside and heated them up for 5mins afterwards. Not even blowing warm air into the horn would unfreeze the valves outside.

-1f cold my ass. It was -10 here without windchill or dew point. with windchill and dewpoint it was about -30f talk about freezing fast. AS soon as you stepped outside your balls turn blue, it gets hard to breate, not to mention that after about 2 minutes your toes, and fingers start to hurt so badly you cant stand it.last year it was even colder. so cold that teh diesel in teh busses around my school gelled up and they couldnt get the busses started. I think at about 4am that day it was about -50f

Last Friday [like I said the weather changed], alot of people were in shorts and tee-shirts by afternoon. Around dinner, they were all fucked from the nice, freezing snow.

first off, we didn't even know how cold it was outside since we were inside for midterms and then had a meeting with Senator Santorum.

Secondly, we have had early dismissals from school on our past rehearsal dates and we leave for DC tomorrow at 5am. So there was no choice on going outside today. We had to.

Hasn't been that cold where I live, actually. A few days ago it was +16 C

its crazy but it seems to get cold in the winter.................. go figure

its pretty cold here, nothing like last year though.

-40 with the windchill here today. Was kind of cold on the face but I still worked outside. I just had to go in every 30min or so and warm my face up/blow my nose and I was good to go again. I hate people who complain abbout the weather, its too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. you people suck.

Only thing I don't like is my car hates the cold so it dosent want to work. Their a sensor that controls the engine that is inside the car. Because its inside the car the engine cant warm it up so it gets moisture in it and the car won't run worth a shit so I have a space heater out in the car now trying to warm it up.

My bro's car's Trunk froze solid shut today, took a while to get it open.
