Resident Evil 3 In Negotiations
 

From "Now Playing" magazine:

"With Resident Evil: Apocalypse coming to DVD on December 28th and Alien Vs. Predator following a month later on January 25th, writer-director-producer Paul W.S. Anderson spoke exclusively with Now Playing Magazine earlier this week about the two films. During that chat, he also let loose with the status of a possible Resident Evil 3 film.

“It’s still just a concept at the moment,” the filmmaker says. “The second movie did better business than the first movie did, so obviously there’s talk of doing a third film. When I made the first movie, I always wanted to see it as a trilogy. I always had a vision for a trilogy of films, and the way I imagined it was that the first movie would be a prequel to the videogames, the second movie would be set in the same timeframe as the videogames, specifically Resident Evil: Nemesis, and then the third movie I always saw as kind of a sequel, or a postscript, to the videogames, set slightly after the time of the videogames. So it’s something I would definitely like to do, but we’re still kind of in negotiations. But there’s definitely a will to make the movie, that’s for sure.”

Resident evil 2 was pretty bad. AVP was absolutly aweful.

i havent seen avp, but i love re and re2, re was better though but i think they both were pretty fucking awesome. whats so bad about re2?

The 1st re was the best the 2nd didn't have as much gore ... and some bad acting ... and a bad story.....

AVP: Alien Vs. Predator (2004) - haven't seen it, but it's no secret that it's terrible
Resident Evil (2002) - terrible
Soldier (1998) - even with Kurt Russell it's terrible
Event Horizon (1997) - Ok, I'll give him this one...not bad
Mortal Kombat (1995) - terrible
Shopping (1994) - didn't see it...assume it's terrible

He did event horizon... That movie is #1 on my "Jesus fucking christ this movie is fucked" list.

Event Horizon killed Sam Niells Career.

His career was dead long before that. which is why he was so easy to get back to the jp franchise.

daredevil sucked, and elektra is gonna be worse. xmen was meh when it first came out, but please, no more.

My sister's obsessed with those movies...and anything like them ... like alias, or dark angel.

I didn't think Xmen, or xmen 2 was that bad though. elektra fucking blew...one of the worst movies ive seen.

Oh, and another overrated shitty film: Underworld. fuck all these shitty movies piss me off.

RE1 was good imo, but the second one was so gay that the guy next to me gave me a hand job. Gaming industry is becoming so big, its going to crap out like the movie industry. Its only logical that they merge here.
