Well, with the way we kill sharks here on the East coast, i say it's about time those animals get even. We're the ones intruding on their turf so, we're the ones taking chances.

Thats one reason i refuse to go shark fishing. Unless i can release the fish unharmed, i'm not going to go.

Akuma 03-20-2005 07:46 PM

I'm not saying we can't eat fish....i'm just saying it's wrong to hunt them just because some swimmer got killed. Thats the problem with shark fishing...most you can't eat.

I wonder how trippar feels about this...

Man swims in ocean where huge meat eatting fish reside and everyone is shocked when he's eatten... Then they brilliantly come up with the idea they can hunt a single shark. Idiots.

Gonzo 03-20-2005 09:10 PM

that is what he gets for going outside

Well, they know the shark was 20 ft long and that it had a big fin on top and really big teeth. rolleyes: They also know it was either a Great White or a Tiger shark ... but they can't look for just those types because that would be racial profiling and we all know racial profiling is wrong.

well she is now, most Aussie beaches have a tidal pool so you can swim safely but it's
not much fun, I just got her comfortable with snorkelling and then there was a fatal shark
attack evey other week...looks like hiking will be the go now, all the venomous
snakes and spiders are pussies compared to what might be lurking in teh depths... ed:

It's the Inland Taipans you gotta watch for.

Pyro 03-21-2005 07:39 AM

The ocean is a cool place to explore...just there is dangers. And hunting a shark because it killed a human who knew the risks...is oOo: .

Unknown_Sniper 03-21-2005 10:05 AM

its weird, they dont know where the shark is, cant find it, havent seen it and yet they know its a 20 foot white or tiger. I mean by all means go ahead and think that and it most probably is if it bit the guy in half. But now they might kill some random shark that has never seen a person so much as tasted its blood just to appease the people. Sharks are cool shit and shouldnt be messed with. IF the guy was out there in the ocean he knew that there was that chance and he still took the risk. He entered teh sharks house and the shark said get the fuck out by biting him in half and scaring everyone else enough to leave.
