Settings fora 19 inch monitor.
I just got a new 19 inch CRT. Anybody have suggestions for resolution settings etc? I was using 1024x768 on my old 17 inch. Now I'm using 1280x1024 that was "recomended" now the text on screen seems really small. Maybe I just have to wait to get used to it. I've done the google thing and I'm not finding much about it. Any tips?

If Christ used a 19" monitor, he'd have the resolution set to 1280x960.

1280 X 960 if you want to keep with old proportions set the refresh rate to 72+ Hz it will seem smaller but youll get use to it

I have my 22" at work at 2048x1536. happy:

Tft's though > all, no flicker or bs refresh rates and to me the image seems a shitload more defined.

anything over 19" is overkill, ya its nice, but unless youre really blind and you need 22 in set at 640 x 480 just to see the damn mouse, its a huge sucking sound fo power and vid resources

Id set it to what they recommend even if it is too small
I had my momitor set to 1024x768 for the longest time, then I set it to 1152x864 it took me like a day or two to get used to it. and now it looks like its still at 1024x768 |
