so yeah, im lookin for a new job this summer, something like warehouse work (loading shit onto pallets) anyone done this? its about 12+ per hour so hell yeah i'll take it plus they let us do overtime.

I worked the night shift at home depot unloading pallets. Was pretty simple work, just 10 guys unloading 200+ pallettes of construction materials. I worked 40+ exhausting hours a week; however, it didn't require me to think so that was nice.

9 an hour, but i would of gotten a raise and such. Also they offer benefits as well, but i don't really need those heh.

Me, I'd much rather have a job that requires thinking, I just put in 10 hours this afternoon at the library like it was nothing, 10 hours at my old target job would be hell it would go sooooo long.

i keep the saturn for winter. i work at a grocery store still, people are fucken stupid and the pay is shit get me outt of there

Summer pisses me off becaus eI make less at my work because I am not considered daytime anymore.

big difference...so im thinking of switching jobs for the summer...but my job is so easy and enjoyable...

I just put in for my second job. My first is 10 hours shifts overnight moving frieght for $12.00, 4 days a week. I applied to a "Big 5" Saturday and i'll be calling today to set up the interview. Should be a bit less manual labor, something i can relax a bit more with.
