Put in the CD that came with it and install the iPod software/drivers.

sometimes when i plug my ipod in (not the gay mini one) it doesnt show up in iTunes, but if i close totally out of itunes and start it up again it usually works. also try disconnecting and connecting the ipod a bunch of times

sometimes mine wont show up in itunes, but if i leave it on for awhile or start messing around with playlist, it will magically appear. othertimes itunes pops up as soon as i plug it in. i dont know, try unstainlling reinstalling everything.

Zen Micro is definately better than the ipod mini. The Zen Creative being better than the full ipod...I'm not sure about that one. But trust me with the zen > ipod mini
