It is very difficult to pass the test if you've consumed THC in the last six months. The FBI uses the same test for a reason.

A novel idea would be to not do illegal drugs. But then, that would be intelligent.

well i'm done doing that shit, i finally got my shit together. i rarely consume alcohol too. 6 months is harsh, oh well. was a nice job too...14 an hour plus overtime. it can be passed if the hair is shaved and regrown though?

Google some more info. There's a good possibility the shampoo's may work. If they don't, well... it was worth a try. There's also a good posibility that the test won't pick anything up (depending on how often you smoke). These shampoo's are for people that smoke 1-2 times a week, not once a month [assumed].

My problems with drugs have absolutely nothing to do with religious beliefs.

I've seen people throw away perfectly good opportunities in life because they just had to get high. Blown job interviews, ruined credit (yes, buying weed) and kicked out of University. When I was in school, a friend that I'd gone to school with for four years was even killed over a large bag of weed he was carrying in his jacket.

So yes, I have a problem with drugs. If you can't exercise the self-control to not use them, or you lack the mental fortitude to get through your problems and/or have fun without using drugs, alcohol, etc. then you are weak-minded and need to step aside in the name of the species.

And yes, I know I just pissed off 90% of the forum, but that's the way it is. Drugs and alcohol are for the weak.

That's ok with me, you're entitled to your beliefs, it just annoys me immensely when people will drink like a fish but when you even mention weed they think of you as some burn out loser. There's no doubt that it can cause problems for people, but there are alot of smart, responsible people who use pot, some on a very regular basis. Pot doesnt make you lazy and dumb, just alot of lazy and dumb people smoke it.

An understandable source of frustration.. and it irritates me as well. Alcoholism is no better than being addicted to any other drug.

well when you're close to graduating from college its unadvisable to smoke weed if you're looking to get a job. i just hope they cant take a pubic hair test :P

yeah, and since they are hiring again in june, i'll resubmit my application and get my haircut before then, clearing my hair of the drug while detoxing my body.

Blood test you're fucked, piss test you have a variety of options.

Cranberry juice is a start....Drink a lot of that. You should be fine if you haven't smoked in over a month.

All my close friends are potheads, and ALL of them contribute to society....There is a group of 8 of us and we all meet up in the evenings to have a session and talk about our days/weeks whatever....It's purely for relaxation, like a nice hot bath after a long day at work.
We all wake up the next morning fine, ready to contribute to society in the form of university, and steady jobs - Every single one of us.

I like to think I'm not a total moron, and I'm one of the top in my class at university and I've been smoking weed pretty much daily for almost two years, and before that at least weekly since I was 14...I had my first session when I was 13 and I'm 19. Only other drug I've tried was mesculine (cactus), and that was a one off.

....and based on all the other stoners I've met, I'm pretty much the typical, average of all of us combined. Stereotyping is where everyone goes wrong.

Ethanol gets millions of guys laid that never would have if it didn't exist. Call it weak to want to get laid? Perhaps in your world, not mine, thats human nature. A better reply would have been: "alcohol is for the ugly and unsociable"... much better. I am neither, though alcohol does enhance events for me, much like food and shelter enhances life for you. Mk. Ive only recently started smoking pot. And even then ive done it probably 3 times in the past month. I drink alot, though I am cooing down on that do to some bad expierences. By far I think being drunk is worse than being stoned. The peopel are more agitated and they might wake up with a hangover unable to perform their daily tasks.
Old, go get a brazilian when you shave your head rock: Mix it up dont drink jsut water, drink OJ, cranberry juice, grape juice w/e. And dont smoke anymore and you should be ok.

I know people that use pot, when I was younger I used it ALOT. Most of the people that I know that still use it are productive in society. It is much less harmful that alcohol IMO. That doesnt make it OK to use because it is still illegal. I doubt that will ever change because there is no way to test someone for being "under the influence" the tests cant tell if you are high or if you smoked last week. No matter what you choose to use it should be in moderation. Too much of anything isnt good for you.

I have always wondered, if you go on vacation to somewhere where pot is legal (like Amsterdam) and use it then come home to work and find out you need to take a drug test, you will fail but you used it legally, do you lose your job?

I doubt it. I'm assuming companies look at the situation from a perforamnce stance, rather than a legal issue. They want to know their employees are top notch and up to par.

Almost 25% of the population in this country admit to using marijuana at least monthly....Pretty much all my friends do it outside of my 7 close friends, except not all of them on the same scale....None of them I consider "burnouts."

Maybe it's like that where you are but it's DEFINITELY not a global thing.
I'm guessing you only know a handful of stoners, if that. Sure there are obviously going to be burnouts, but they're the type of people that are fuck-ups to begin with. I think you'd be suprised if you found out how many people around you smoke pot that you never even suspected - Normal, everday people of a varety of demographics. Thing with most stoners is they keep it quiet from pretty much everyone, for obvious reasons.

drug tests suck...but Ive never had to have one for my job yet.

I sniffed a wet fingerful of Pixie Stick dust before, but thats about as far as I've gone.
