I won't be getting one, anytime soon after they come out anyway.

My bro will prob get one. i probably won't play it though. last time i played xbox was when i passed halo 2. and that was like a week after halo 2 came out.

I'll wait until it drops in price.

I'll be working full time all summer, so by the end I'll have enough money to get one. I'm not sure I'll get one though ... depends more or less on how much it will cost when it's released, plus some other factors:

1) Some people say it'll cost $70-$80 (even $90 I heard, but that's unlikely) per Next-Gen game. No way am I paying that much for a damn game. Think about it ... over $200 for 3 games. I'd never pre-order a game again.
2) I hope it will be backwards-compatible, since I might plan on selling my Xbox before X360 comes out to help pay for the cost, but I want to keep some of the games (since I don't think I'll be buying many new ones that the price they're hinting at).

Good to hear that Xbox Live is free now ... and that the DVD remote will come with the 360 instead of having to buy one seperately.

Xbox live is not "free" with the 360. If you listen closly to one of the vids the guy says something along the lines of:

Everyone will have xbox live when they purchase the 360, with sort of a 'bronze' package. You can browse content, get updates, and chat with friends. Then a user can purchase an upgrade, or 'gold' account and have access to multiplayer features.

sony always say their consoles can do this and that then show off all these amazing tech demos and when the system is released they look nothing alike and are pure crap. they did this with the ps1 the ps2 and no doubt the ps3

Pretty impressive. 48 pixel pipelines with a max of 96 billion shader operation per second. To put that in perspective... The X850XT only has 16 pipelines and can only do 5.7 billion shader ops per second.
