Trip to Denmark
I got back today and uploaded a bunch of pictures (all of them to be exact) to my webspace. I didn't feel like fixing all of the blurry pictures and bad light pictures. All I did was resize them.
When I get a bit more time on my hands, I'll write about a few of my experiences and such. For now, you can search through the hundreds of photos I took biggrin: http://www.derekrohaly.com/images/Denmark Here is my favorite one which was taken in a dungeon of a castle: |

was that place cool?[/quote:939b8]yeah, that was legoland. Our jazz band had a gig there. The people really seemed to enjoy us. At one point in time, there were a bunch of little kids dancing in the back. Denmark is so awesome. I did not see ONE FAT PERSON at all...no exageration. I walked for hours upon hours in the center of Copenhagen (the capital city) and every person was skinny or normal. There are a bunch of blonde haired blue eyed people too = hot women. Also, I've never seen so many lesbians in my life. You'd walk down the street and you can see a female couple kissing every 10 mins. I loved the bike lanes they had. Between the street and sidewalk there was a designated lane just for bikes. Every person rides a bike there, it's great. The funny thing is the bikers have the right away when it comes to traffice. If they're going straight through an intersection on a green light, a car turning left/right has to wait for the bikes to go by. Another thing I noticed was everyone owned a flash-drive player. I didn't see any ipods or creative zens or dell mp3 players. |
so denmark was so wicked awesome not because of the culture or landmarks but because no one was fat?
GG you conceited bassfish. |

I just commented on the things that people posted. If you look through the pictures you can see a bunch of the landmarks we went to. It was pretty awesome to see such old buildings. It's odd how in America if we see a building that is from 1780 we think it's freakin old. Over there if a building is from 900 it's considered old. The one building called the Round Tower was pretty cool. It was built by King Christian IV in the year 900 or something that was used for an observation tower and a place for him to study the stars. There's a bunch of cool and intresting facts that we heard. I want to write a huge summary of my time so if someone asks me I can just link them to that. But that's only going to happen if I feel like not being lazy heh |
this guy is amazing

ahaha, stevie geringer is his name. We were walking in downtown Copenhagen and there were little danish kids that just pointed at him and laughed b/c he was so fat lmao. It was a good laugh.

for those that don't feel like going through the 1000 pictures, i put together a slideshow mostly of the students that went on the trip and added a few landmark pictures in as well.
