Who has the worst job currently?
 

My job is the movie Office Space. All i do is sit in a cubicle and sort files alphabetically. Once i'm done sorting these millions of sheets of paper (about 2 weeks) i get to enter one type of data from all the millions of pages, then go through again and enter another piece of data. Its so damn mind numbing.

I'm an x-ray tech currently scanning the unreleased General Motors Gen 4 alumininum v-8 engine blocks. The model is currently in the r & d stage so I am only viewing 30 tp 50 blocks a day.
It might sound interesting, but looking at the same images on a computer screen is definately becoming monotonous.

I have to stand in the sun at city events and direct traffic, and normally I have to direct them away from the main lot, and they really don't like that.

To top it all off? I don't get paid.

I get post online all day.



And once in a while print some shit.

I stock shelves in Shoprite. $7.00 an hour isn't bad and I only have to work 20 hour weeks.

Im the Inventory Associate @ Staples. I work M-F 7am-3pm scanning holes in the store, finding the product, bitching out vendors who dont give me RMA's quick enough for all their broken shit that hangs out in this 8x8 plywood locked cage I call home. Then I take out trash, throw away broken shitty products, conduct counts of products, find out its missing, wonder where the fuck it is. Then code out stolen shit little fucking cock mongrels ripped off(OMFG this.87 pencil is too much) then when shrink(stolen shit) gets too high, I get ragged on by the management and then Loss prevention will visit and grill me on wtf is going on(store sucks monkey cock)

Interning for the local police.

I do training and consulting for a software company. It's a fucking grind. I am on the road > 50% of the time. Most of the time I'm training idiots who don't have a great deal of Windows experience. I find myself constantly repeating "your other right-click, you fucking boon" under my breath.

The travel sucks ass. I sit in airports and lay around in hotels all day. This year I've flown 20 round trips already. The exotic locations include Torrance, Manchester, Providence, Portland, Orlando, and Miami to name a few. I'm always to beat to venture out and see the sites. I usually just get the newest porn on the hotel pay per view and talk the front desk into putting it onto a separate bill so my expenses won't be scrutinized.

The only saving grace is the airline mile, Marriott Rewards, etc. I've got more Southwest round trips than I know what to do with. I've been ebaying my rapid rewards vouchers.

Anyway, the money is good, so I'm more or less stuck. My college degree got me here, but now my lifestyle and mortgage is keeping me here. I wish sometimes that I could just stock shelves at Caldor like I did in high school. Anyway, I guess I shouldn't bitch so much when some people are unemployed.

-I work with all the rejects who can't work days...
-My routine is the exact same every night, Stock Shelf, Face Shelf, Sweep Floor.'
-The job pays well though, almost 13.00 $ an hour as it is.
-Shitty Hours 10 pm to 7 am......
-Turn Over rate really sucks... I have had 3 full crews flop over already in 5 months. (Fired) (Quit) (Dissapeared)
-Owner is really nice, the store manager threatens to castrate me on a daily basis when something wasn't faced nicely.
-Other then that, just a very very very routine job..

I fix other peoples mistakes on a bulk receiving dock. Basically we get product in each night, i take large quantities palletize them and make them go away. I work 4 days, 10 hours, 10pm to 8am. The 3 days i dont work all the empty space i manage to make is wasted by the asshat who covers those days. So i walk back in sundays to a mess all over again. Then im expected to fix all the shit the other guy makes.

Then other teams, day side and a seperate backstock team put shit in the wrong places, or just do it fucking lazily. Then bitch about how shitty it looks. Then im ordered to fix that, i do, a week later its torn to shit. Training is a joke, since you can tell them 20582305 times how to do it and they still wont. The day side is the worst because they fuck shit up, or leave it for us to do, then if we dont we get blamed for creating it.

For $12.00 its not really worth it, but minimum wage is like $7.50 something. So id have to work 2 jobs to make a little more than what i do now. Considering i only work 4 days vs two jobs 5 days each, im kinda fucking stuck.

I brought up the lackings in my weekend coverage 2 years ago, i was told he was improving. I continue to point out his lackings every week. Most noticably when they try to blame shit on me; and i have to tell them i didnt even receive the pallet, that i wasnt even there on the day it came in.

Im more of a leader in my work place than my leaders. I've been told to promote by many peers, but refuse because its even more assinine at that level than the one im at.

Well right now I get to breathe air. I get to sleep late, and work on my truck. I get to go online a lot, and basically I get to enjoy being unemployed. Hell I woke up at noon and played games all day. then I went outside worked on my truck, ate dinner and now im here. IVe had a great day and it was free for everyone!!!

I work for a videogame company making maps. no pay until we put a demo out.

To make my job worse is that i take the bus both ways which cost $5 bucks a day. Also, my mother works 4 floors above me so she always has the need to talk to me.
