Coffee

Die Tea...

How many cups do you drink a day, brand, cream, suger?

Don't like it? Stay the fuck out :)>

I probably drink about 3-4 in the morning, preferably Maxwell House, no cream or sugar.

Jin-Roh 05-26-2005 03:45 PM

I like coffee, but only when it's really good. biggrin:
Most of the time, it's really crappy.

Proteus 05-26-2005 03:45 PM

I used to drink a med light with 3 sugars every day, now I dont for some reason.

Nyck 05-26-2005 03:52 PM

I drank it for a while, especially when its cold..but wtf...How can people drink it when its hot as fuck outside in the summer.

ninty 05-26-2005 03:54 PM

Depends on where I'm working. If i'm doing my winter job, i'll probably drink 2-4 small styrafoam cups of columbian coffee out of the vending machine. It gives suprisingly good coffee and for free.

If i'm on my summer job, i'll take my coffee mug and fill it in the morning and thats all I have for the day.

TodzumPapst 05-26-2005 03:57 PM

I drink it every weekend in the morning. I usually drink it black, but if i dont i put vanilla cream in it and sugar (little bit though)

KTOG 05-26-2005 03:59 PM

Well most people in the south don't drink coffee do to the climate so you see a lot of pop drinkers. I drink coffee during the summer because i work in an office thats airconditioned.

Exactly, when i moved to SC i noticed that at 7 in the morning people would be chugging soda like it was coffee.

Personally i like coffee and hot tea. Coffee has to be very good in order for me to drink it though.

strvs 05-26-2005 04:13 PM

Double double nig. I love the taste of coffee and it's really good at waking me up in the morning, but i dont drink it regularly. Human Blood, rather.

Judas 05-26-2005 04:17 PM

i dont even know if i can guess how many ... id say maybe 5 , 16 oz cups a day, give or take. ive gotten to where i dont even drink 'sodas' at all anyone. maybe one per day.

starbucks espresso roast only. sometimes i might get a bag of the house blend beans, but usually only if theres no es roast. if im out i might settle for a medium roast from barneys but i usually have them add a shot of espresso. i only like dark roasts - french roast.

2 1/2 tsps sugars , 2% milk / 16 oz steel travel mug.

jujumantb 05-26-2005 04:18 PM

I prefer a dark, rich roast (8'oclock brand usually) and drink usually 3 cups each morning if I have to get up for something, and just black, I dont like stuff to take away from my coffee's flavor.

elstatec 05-26-2005 04:20 PM

coffee is for the weak.

ninty 05-26-2005 04:23 PM

I will never buy any coffee from starbucks or any of those places. I refuse to pay $5 for a coffee. doesn't make sense to me. 98% of the coffee I drink is either from the vending machine or instant coffee that i can buy 40lbs for 5 bucks.

Nyck 05-26-2005 04:26 PM

Judas takes his laptop to starbucks and writes his memoirs "A diary of a STFU" while drinking his dark roast and snacking on his crumpet.

Pyro 05-26-2005 04:29 PM

Only time I usually ever have coffee is when people at work offer to go to timmies and offer to buy me something...or when I have a test to study for and I have a coffee as my break from studying.

I only drink Tim Hortons usually...and it is triple triple.

i dont buy it from starbucks or barnes and noble but from walmart for about 6 bucks a bag ... not too shabby .. the bag usually lasts 2 weeks < .

i will buy from b&n or starbucks if im near one tho ... i think you can get a medium cup for like a buck 80 or so.

KTOG 05-26-2005 04:34 PM

Its those iced drinks that cost out the ass.

Also, i would say i have 16oz cup ... never took the time see what it was.

Doctor Duffy 05-26-2005 04:36 PM

I hate all the fags you see at Starbucks, sporting their silver Apple laptops, and a mug proportianally fixed within the reach of their hand, and their thick black framed rectangular glasses, and their faggy mimi Passat's waiting for them outside, plastered with stickers they dont do a thing about, like "Free Tibet!" and "Bush Lie. People Die!" and...

I hate coffee. It tastes disgusting, and even worse when half of the cup is creamified sugar and malt syrup.

Coffee isnt something humans are predisposed to find tasty, its an aquired taste, drink it enough and you'll start to like it, same with beer, I dont care even if you're canadian, you didnt like the taste of your first real beer.

I hate kids that complain all day on internet froums.

Doctor Duffy 05-26-2005 04:43 PM

Talk to Pyro. Starbucks is just one of the few things I hate.

Bleuachdu 05-26-2005 04:44 PM

I stop at either Dunkin Donuts or Tim Hortons for coffee every morning. I get a large with cream + sugar. I think its either 16 or 24oz. For whatever reason, I can't eat anything in the morning. If I have breakfast it absolutely fucks my stomach for the rest of the day. So I always have my coffee.

strvs 05-26-2005 04:45 PM

I find whenever i eat breakfast i can't get the taste out of my mouth the entire day, and after a while it starts to taste like shit. I usually can';t eat for like an hour after i wake up.

Never thought of that.

All I see when I walk around campus is a 15 minute line up for a cup of $5 coffee.

Doctor Duffy 05-26-2005 04:51 PM

Coffee has become a fashion statement.

i dont think so ... not anymore than it ever has been ... people have been drinking coffee for years.

?

Doctor Duffy 05-26-2005 05:10 PM

Of course people have been drinking it for years, but in the business world, in order for you to appear smart, you must be walking to downtown holding a briefcase, and ALWAYS a STarbucks cup of coffee in the other hand. I live in Denver, so it could be a little more popular around here...

...plus, at school (which just ended today) you always see kids standing around with their coffee's. Why not sodas? Or juices? Or even water? No, no, its gotta be coffee. Its the fashion of food. It shows how literrate (SP?) you are, and that you are proud of being smart. And you have money.

Of course the little twats are going to be trendy about one thing (in this case...drinking coffee). Judas is right, it's not really a new thing to do. It's just that your little friends thought drinking coffee should be the trend after pokemon cards.

Pyro 05-26-2005 05:41 PM

Id say Poker is the new pokemon right now.

Would you rather me travel every school within the same city, then retype my comment? Why do you always have to be so defensive about things, and always find something to complain about, especially my posts? What are you trying to prove, anyways? I said coffee was a trend, you repeated it. Dont you have anything better to do?

I am saying that it's status hasn't changed since '95 atleast (when starbucks opened up).

Zoner 05-26-2005 05:50 PM

Store bought:
Tim Hortons
XL or Large, 2 cream, 2 sweetener

Homemade:
Kenya AA medium or Costa Rican
CoffeeMate, 2 sweetener

I usually grind my own beans and make my own brew on weekdays. Bring a bigass travel mug on the bus with me. I might have another one in the afternoon at work, but the office coffee licks balls.

bukdez 05-26-2005 06:11 PM

diet coke is my coffee...

KTOG 05-26-2005 07:57 PM

Coffee is a trend ... get the fuck out.

People drink coffee at work to look smart? You get a white desk job and try to keep your ass awake all day. Until you can say you've drank a pot of coffee and typed a TPS report, stay the fuck out of this thread.

Kids drinking coffee? OH NOS THE WORLD IS OVER. You have fun sipping your Hi - C while all your buddies slug down their coffees and grow some hair on their balls.
