The Greatest Journey: Starbucks, and Beyond

So, theres this guy who goes by the name of Winter (who, according to a bunch of news sites, is actually just some lawyer) who's making a religious journey to every Starbucks in the world.

Rofl, what a dope:

What's cool is that the Starbucks in my town have been blessed by his very FEET. Theres no way his landing a marketing job, though.

Here are the places in my area he's been to: (That I've seen)
This ones downtown. First Starbucks I've ever seen in Colorado.

This place used to be a bank. Funny building, it looks like a barn. But its right across from my favorite resteraunt: Pete's Greek Cafe. I go there atleast once a month.

This one's the closest to my house, around a five minute drive.

What's funny about this one is that it was built a little more than two weeks ago.

To tell you the truth, I have never once laid my foot inside a Starbucks cafe - well, except one at Barnes and Nobles, but only to use their door, so ignore that. I've never ordered from them, though - though I had a Vanilla drink once I got a 7-11. So ignore that, too.

EDIT: Oops, sorry, forgot to post the link:

Tommy?

Zoner 08-09-2005 02:24 PM

Starbucks licks gerbil anus.

Why anyone would want to visit every goddamned Starbucks is WAY beyond me...although his picture offers much insight.

[DAS REICH] Blitz 08-09-2005 02:26 PM

I hope you stayed away from the beyond section

Simo Häyhä 08-09-2005 02:26 PM

Ive never been in a starbucks either.
we are a dying breed

Bleuachdu 08-09-2005 02:28 PM

Doctor Duffy 08-09-2005 02:39 PM

I think this is one of the few times I've used the following emoticon and actually meant it: oOo:

Coleman 08-09-2005 03:24 PM

the only time i've been to a starbuck was a grand opening at a local store. From 6PM-10PM everything was free. That was leeeet. They have really good stuff there, but I wouldn't waste my money like some people do-->2 starbucks coffees a day with a mocholatoocoolo-thingy-ma-jigger.

Just four? You live in that prissy neighborhood? I live about a mile away - but it's still a five minute drive up 6th Avenue.

I've been on the computer alll day, man. I also got to do mouth-to-mouth on a plastic dummy at swimming today. dance:

lasagna 08-09-2005 03:44 PM

No idea, Think its a matter of people being addicted to coffee and have to have one in the morning, but I usually get an Ice Cap in the summer from Tims.

Doctor Duffy 08-09-2005 04:45 PM

I bet half of the people you meet in Starbucks havent even tried regular coffee before. That stuff is sick - but Dark is for real men!

If it werent for the whole Starbucks idealism, with the Apple iLaptops, the politics, the books, and square glasses - well, I'd probably like them a little better. It's like geek central there, though.

So how do you know that ''the dreaded geeks'' hang out in there? stupid:

Starbucks is too expensive and not even all that good.

Tim Hortons >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Starbucks

Word. Preach on, brutha. rock:

Doctor Duffy 08-10-2005 05:30 PM

Tim Hortons - a brand, or coffee shop? The only other coffee shops I've seen around are independent ones and "Atlanta Bread", which hardly is one.

I was having dark brew at 7-11 for a week, just because I wanted to try it out. Nastiest stuff ever, bitter than hell, but jeeze did it wake me up.
