Ever been robbed?
 

When I was 14 or 15 we went on vacation to Florida for a week and when we came back found our house had been burgularized. We believe it was someone we knew or a friend of my cousins becuase they only took certain things.

They took the "cheater" cable box we had at the time(the one that gives you all the channels), but left stereo, tv etc. Then went into my parents room, left all the jewelery but dragged my dads Gun Safe out of the house. WTF this thing weighed like 300 lbs and had 6+ rifles in it. It left ground it grooves in our wood floor dragging it out.

My room which was in the fully finished basement, they went down in and stole my genesis, and the 30+ games I had for it cry: Why would someone go down into the basement of a house if they didnt know what they were looking for. We had fingerprints on the glass of our entertainment center, but no one was ever caught.

Good news was we had insurance which covered it all and as a result I got 500 bucks and bought the original Playstation(when it was 300 bucks) and 3 games. rock:

Also while at a chucky cheese(a kids pizza place with like games and arcade shit there) when I was 15 for a cousins Bday party, another cousin and I got bored and went to walk down the plaza to the sporting goods store. It was around 8 pm and my stupid ass cousin is walking with a big wad of cash counting it out. This black kid came riding up in a hoodie sweatshirt and asked "you know what time it is?"

No dont have a watch man sorry. he circled us again and said " No I asked you do you know what time it is?" At this point he reaches in the front pocket of his sweat shirt and we see the handle and trigger of a handgun.

HOLY FUCK we thought and at that moment the Hammer of the gun got stuck on his pocket and he dropped it to the ground. We heard a solid metal klunk as it hit the ground. Knowing this wasnt any toy gun and either a real pistol or a BB gun regardless we were not waiting around to find out. We hauled major fucking ass 50 yds to the sports store and called the police then our parents. Again no one was ever caught.

naw, but several people I know have been burgled.

Yeah while we were on vacation to florida, someone broke down our garage door, stole about 600$ worth of power tools (my dad is a construction worker), and a stereo system with surround sound in the garage.. not to mention a bottle of aged whiskey.

dam, i should remember not to go down to Florida since both you guys got robbed while down there

I was burglarized about a year after I got out of the service. They took the stereo I bought in Okinawa. A couple years after that the gas station I worked at was robbed. I gave the fucker the money, then he told me to turn around. I told him if he was going to cap me he would do it to my face. Someone stole $500.00 and a .38 from my bedroom while I was married. Some dude that I was letting cut my lawn broke into my basement and took my air compressor. I got the compressor back. My truck was broken into a couple months ago and they stole a laptop.

Robbed of a lawnmower - we left our garage door open.

I was robbed on the spot of $10 bucks in quarters by this goofy little black kid (Robert, lasagna) who had the most horrible teeth.

I had a 10" Sony sub stolen out of my car a few years ago. Smashed the driver side window and ran off with the sub. Didn't take anything else. Deck, CD's amp were all still there. It was someone who obviously heard me playing the stereo and knew the sub was in the car. That means they live by or were in the area one day.

This is why if you have a stereo in your car, always turn it down in your own neighbourhood, and other places you visit often like work or school so no one knows it's there.

I live in downtown Detroit. My car has been broken into 3 times in 1.5 years.

I havent been robbed as bad as you guys here, but i know how shitty you feel after it happens. When i was about 15, someone stole my Genesis NHLPA 93 from my backpack. when i was in high school, someone took my TI 85 graphing calculator from my backpack as well. later on ii was with some shipmates in greece when two guys tried to rob us. one had a gun and took my friends watch, ring, wallet and was getting ready to shake me down when a couple of cops saw the whole thing. the guy with our stuff got shot 3 or 4 times and his friend ran off with 2 cops on his ass. i dont know whatever happened to him, but my friend got his stuff back and the cops let us go.

Had my big ninja turtle (Like 1 foot high one) action figure stolen at school when I was about 7, the following year I had a gameboy with two games stolen from my schoolbag.

Just recently had all my fucking CDs stolen (All of them actual CDs I had bought, mainly rare hiphop CDs which was a collection of about 50 that I had built up over a couple of years) That was fucking annoying. I was so angry after that, as some of those CDs I couldn't even find on the internet, and I had only had about half of the CDs ripped onto my HD. They also took my CD player with the car kit.

...Was stolen out of my car while I was fucking home on the PC, with my headphones on. If I had caught the cunt I swear to god I would have made him bite the fucking curb.

My car got robbed for a second time about 2 months after, parked down my long ass driveway, like the first time. They took the rest of my CDs which hadn't been stolen and my replacement CD player/car kit set up. Fucking pricks.

Our house has never been burgled once.

I also had this big fucking intimidating looking samoan guy fuck with me at a party one time, I saw him reaching into my jacket and taking out my wallet, I go up to him and ask him what the fuck he's doing and he says nothing - So I ask him to give my wallet back and he says he doesn't have it. I check the jacket pocket and it's in there. So I take my shit and walk off. I reach in for taxi money later on in the night and find that 30 bucks had been stolen. ....By then the bastard was long gone.

You people have some serious crime problems.

Yep! I never knew it would be that expensive, but I knew it would be pretty bad. I thought the exact same thing when I saw it. I was relieved they smashed the driver window and not the hatch. The rear hatch was tinted also, so i'd have to replace it and then tint it as well.

All I did was go to the junk yard and pick up a window for $15

well Once I lost my wallet with $100 inside

not too long after that, back in grade 11, I worked this weekend like 20 hours that two days with my Dads freind, cleaning washrooms and stripping and waxing and mopping floor, lifting an all that. got $220 the next day, Finally had enough saved up for my Playstation 2, was gonna buy it after school, so I took my money, last class of the day, I check my wallet and every fucking bill was gone. ugh! such hard work went into earning that. and some fuck takes it.

and im not afraid to say it, but yes, i did cry, it was too painful, this was before I had a a legit job to so it wasnt like I got a cheque every week.

So since after that happen, any chance I get to steal something, (other than from my close friends) I take it. makes me feel better.

I jacked some kids dinosaurs when I was like 5. hahahaha I still remember that. Someone was watching over us and there was some kid that got everything. When the adult looked away and the kid did, I took the dinosaurs, hid them under my coat and ran to my parents. biggrin:

Robbed at gun point by two guys when I was working at a Majik Market. Sophmore year in college I worked the 11pm-7am shift to pay for school.

The guys only got $49 total, including the change. I had been real busy that night and had not had time to put the extra money in the safe. (we were supposed to keep a minimum amount in the cash register) Since I couldn't go back in the back where the safe was I was throwing the extra bills under the counter on top of the sacks. I gave the robber all the money in the drawer and he got pissed 'cause he could tell it wasn't much. He said, "this ain't all. Give me the rest of it!!" I said, "Sorry. That's all I got. Do you want me to put it in a sack?" Then I had to get a small sack out from under a pile of about $500-$600 to put his $49 in. Yep. I'm an idiot. If he had stepped around the counter and saw that pile of money he might have flipped out and started shooting. I'm lucky I didn't get my head blown off but at the time I was just pissed that this guy was robbing me...and heck it wasn't even my money.

ive had my cd player stolen out of my truck while i was eating in a restaraunt. They smashed my window, ripped out my dash, tore my seat and took the cd player with one of my cd's still in it, they also hit like 4 other cars but i was the only one who had any real damage done to the car loney:

Never. But one Christmas 2 or 3 years ago my neighbors were robbed while on vacation in the Bahamas. Alot of nice stuff stolen too. Cameras Tvs Laptops.
