FPS game, i played it today at work, its not bad but if your a fan of the movie the game might be intresting to a few.

The demo fucking sucks. The models look like shit and it takes 65090978938732507325 bullets to kill some of the aliens.

Game is terrible...

I turned the settings up and when I go to start the level the movie is just a white screen and when the map loads all I see are poofs of smoke and black everywere and a looping sound saying "Bugs".

This demo fails miserably.

then you'll see in the movie that it also takes alot to bring down the bugs.

Well the difference is you’re by yourself and it makes it a little annoying when you have two bugs and they are both charging you while you’re spraying ammo at them. If you get a good shot with the shotgun you can get them a little faster but it's still tedious.

Heh... Only in the beginning. Once they join the Roughnecks they start killing bugs in a single 3-4 round burst.... with the same rifles as before.

The game runs like shit on medium settings even for high end systems.

that was becuz the smart dude(the one that becomes a scientist) showed them where to shoot ...it was like a commercial and he had a bug behind bars...

But they weren't even aiming. During the "Omaha Beach" scene they just fired a few random shots and the bugs would fall apart like they were getting shot with 50cals. In the beginning the bullets would put little holes in te bug armor but later a single shot could take off one of their "arms".

Either way, the movie was awesome. cool:

Continuity: In the shower scene, Johnny's butt is already red before it is smacked.

The movie was robbed of 2 oscars by titanic in 1997.... sad really.

Haha, rofl. I remember seeing this movie twice with my dad, and my dad almost despises sci-fi stuff (he's a real anti-nerd kinda guy, as am I). So awesome, I still cant believe DiCrapio nailed this over the Troopahs.

Starship Troopers is miles ahead of Titanic, it had a better sex scene for fucks sakes.

and they had bigger ships in it too. And they told the story in less than 3 hours.

I played it on the comp at work, Pentium Dual processor with 7800 in it, ran withou9t one hiccup. but my comp had an anurizim when i ran it.

someone should make a game of Titanic
