Ive only had it for a day, but man, this thing is awesome. I love the size, the sound, the features... Everything, even the smell of it! happy: dance:

A little background story: I ordered it 2005-08-02. Since I hadnt gotten it in a week, I gave the store a call, and they told me they were closed at that time... oOo:
So, I decided to send them a mail instead, and I got an answer after roughly three days, where it said the order hadnt been registered, but it should be shipping the next day. So, I waited for another week, and still no package. Gave em another ring, and this time I actually got an answer (!!).
They told me it was out of stock now, and that theyd send it in 4 days from that day or something. Waited for another few days, and still no package. Gave em a new ring, and this time they had em home, and they told me theyd send it straight away. Waited for another few days, and still no package. Was about to give up hope on them and order from a diff store, when suddenly my Google Talk popped up with a message saying that I had a new mail. Checked it out, and they had finally sent the pack! Came home yesterday, picked up the money and payed for the package. Everything was there, it had finally arrived! dance:

They should have at least accomidated you. Perhaps throw in some other stuff for free or knock off a lil' money. Silly bastards.

Don't see any real advantage using an ipod over a regular mp3 player, only real difference is ipod has won design awards...gee a small white box with an lcd on it, musta cost millions thinking up that idea. oOo:

geRV: most mp3 players don't have multi-media options, the iPod nano is colour and you can view pics and movies (yes movies, get the right "software" and you can) from it.

More of a multimedia device than a dedicated mp3 player then.

batteries vary aswell, with ipods still using shitty ones that they can make really small, but lose capacity over time.

All Li batteries lose charge over time.

I remember i had mine, i liked it alot, until it fell out of my lap and broke, the thing that didnt get me to buy another one was there isnt a wide accessory market for them like ipod, and i love accessories. Plus aftermarket people make rugged drop proof cvases for the ipod, and since im a klutz i got the rugged case which has saved my ipod one time and counting.

Thats the one thing i liekd about the zen over the ipod, but i dont really care, mp3 fights/ fanboys are as stupid as people arguing over coke and pepsi.

Even then though i think my ipod lasts as long as my 5 gig zen did...but i might be wrong

This has and probally will be the only MP3 player I will ever own. The thing has done the job for me for years, with no problems at all.
