I've got no idea why this children's amusement park is in there, but I live about .5 miles from it. The scariest thing I've seen there were birds. My buddies and I used to sneak in after it closed down and go fishing for largemouth bass in the lake surrounding the castle. I nearly shit myself as I was walking through these passage ways to get to the other side of the mountain with my gear when a vulture with a wingspan of about 6 feet came hopping toward me. I ran so fucking fast, I'll never forget it. You don't realize how fucking big these things are until one surprises you and thug lunges at you in an enclosed area. My friends were all cracking up, but once they saw the thing, no one would go in there to grab the tackle box that I dropped.

infrared lens ...as in for night vision? u can get night vission on a normal vid camera (not sure if it works on normal cameras) jus by running a heat lamp in the area for a bit then runnning your camera..its pretty badass.

TonyMontana 11-20-2005 09:29 PM

FOrte...check your camera battery when you get it, if youve already ordered it.

I got a huge recall on all the batteries for the d50 at work last thursday.

You're going to have to know how to set custom color balances and what not. It's not as easy as simply slapping on the filter.

Milla 11-20-2005 11:12 PM

anti that pic in yoru sig, im guessing you took it...if so go fuck yourself.

(I envy you)

This one is 10 minutes from me ... my buddies used to strap those blinking construction lights to the top of the tower to make people think there were ghosts up there.

Also, it pisses me off that they are leveling to build a fucking Wal-Mart.

Hit up 79 and take the 65 exit and Dixmont is right around there Probably a 15-20 minute drive from PITT.

Judas 11-21-2005 11:28 AM

some nice photos, no doubt, but subject matter is kind of trite.
