What's up with kids these days. Everybody wants to be from the "'hood". This kid lives in North Hollywood?

Today I picked my daughter up from high school. While I was waiting this hispanic kid comes out. He is dressed like he is in a gang or something. The baggy blue jeans that are barely hanging on, they look really dirty too, kinda yellowed. He's got the scarf thing on his head. His hair is cut real short and he has a couple of ear rings. I forget what kinda shirt he was wearing but the whole image was "thugish". Anyway, he comes out of the school with this pissed off look on his face like "I'm a gangsta. Don't mess wid me." Then he walks in front of my car and gets into his mom's Mercedes. When he opens the door his whole demeaner changed. It was like he went from a thug to a momma's boy in a split second. Really weird. But it made me laugh out loud. I'm thinking, here's a little rich kid that wishes he was living in the projects. Priceless.

ROFL! I thought about the Dave Chappelle edpisode where he finds the kid that he "Traded Spouses" with and he walks in on him listning to rap dressed like a wigger and the kid is like "im from the streets g-g-g-g-g--g unit" and dave chappelle is like what the fuck "g-g-g-g--get your ass in the car" and he takes him to the ghetto and just kicks him out of the car ROFL! taught him a lesson about wanting to be a gangsta while hes a white snob. ROFL i love that show.

but yeah, I'm not sure the whole big deal with the thugnation that is 'style' now. We like to make fun of the "Naples" kids around here because of the fact that I've never seen people try so hard to be so ghetto. I mean when you come from Naples, probally one of the richest parts in the nation, and you show up at hardcore shows in BMW's, Lexus' and Range Rover, you tend to lose a bit of credibility as to your 'thugness'.
