Nice. I would probably get something like that, except they're so damn expensive.

I bought an airsoft Colt .45 a while ago, but now its starting to shoot off in random directions, heh...

Airborne Butters 12-13-2005 03:35 PM

SoLiDUS 12-13-2005 03:56 PM

Nice choice of airsoft! Let me know how it feels and handles.

no...

It all has to do with the way they wrap the graphite and the type of guides they use. Also, depends on if it's one piece or two. Most two pieces, under 7 foot, are hunks of crap.

That pole is the reel n rod combo which is pretty nice. Most Plfueger rods are excellent. I've had a 6 foot Plfueger rod for a year now and it's good. They also make good reels, cause they basically eat saltwater.

jujumantb 12-13-2005 06:00 PM

Should have gone tokyo marui instead of classic army imo. MUCH more reliable. I know a dealer around here that wont even offer a warranty on classic army guns because of their failure rates. Hope you have good luck with yours

I dont need the vert grip, the light on the side, and the sight.

c312 12-13-2005 08:04 PM

whoa, a grand? Isn't that a lot of money for a toy? Granted, it looks cool as hell and is probably a lot of fun, but is it really worth that much? Even anything over $300 seems steep to me.

HeadUp 12-13-2005 08:09 PM

meh mine broke so i sent it back loney:

Miscguy 12-14-2005 08:38 AM

I have all that because every other weekend i go up and shoot around with about 50 - 100 people, and growing.

As for where to shop, i have a local army surplus store that has a decent selection of shit with good prices that meet or beat online (remember shipping). I've also used redwolf, evike, airsoft atlanta, wgc, airsoft deopt, and blazing toys. Best advise shop around TONs of sites before purchasing at one, and remember that while one may have the item cheaper there shipping may be higher. I did a fuck ton of math before placing some of my orders.

Also Jakke, you are getting fucking ripped for those BDU's. Here they have tops and bottoms for 30 a pop new, and fucking cheap used. My DPM top was only 10 bucks and its a damn near brand spankin new heavy winter coat top.

Hopefully i get the new cell phone i somewhat asked for, for "holiday celebration". If i do i'll get some gear pics.

wtf dude no not at all. The rifle was 280, the handguards were 100 thats 380. I wasnt factoring in the accesories. The guns grand total was probably 450. The scope was 50 and the verticle grip was 20. Plus my flash light is the one i mount on my real M4 in the Marines. Its a sure fire so i paid 70 dollars for that flash light, and it is worth every fucking penny. The little rear sight is the original carrying handle. I just cut it down with a hacksaw as oppose to having no rear sight. SO my rifle is like 450

You dont seem to understand what airsoft is. A real gun isnt comparable to airsoft. Just as a real gun isnt comparable to paintball. Airsoft is simply a more realiastic paintball, there is nothing like getting 60 guys out to a nice farm property with ravines, barns, bunkers, etc.. and fight for control over specific buildings with harmless bbs that can shoot accuratly out to hundreds of feet, snipers being able to shoot much further. The sport is NOTHING like plinking around at the range with a real gun. Granted I quit a few years ago, but I do miss it.

ah ok...so how do the bullets work for it...same effect as a paintball gun...or is it different?

Well its different in the sense they shoot accurately up to a few hundred feet in a calm wind. This is accomplished through what is called a "hop-up" system which puts backspin on the bbs as they leave the barrel which makes them fly straight even as they slow down, this is also adjustable for the weight of the BBs you're using. The bbs dont leave marks or anything, the "hit system" is basically an honor system, if you get hit, you call youself hit, you can feel it 99% of the time. I've paintballed and airsoft, for the overall experience, paintball comes nowhere near airsoft.

Pyro 12-14-2005 11:11 PM

shit...cuz it sounds interesting...but I remember the days of manhunt when you tagged someone so they're it too and they're like no you didn't and you want to kick their ass...can see the same shit happening.,..unless people matured...but this IS Brampton.
