I just beat Resident Evil 4 for the ps2. I have to say, it is one of the most amazing games I've ever played. Right up there with MGS 1 and 2, and the n64 Zelda's.

The different atmospheres of the game amazed me the most....from a creepy village, to castles, to valleys, to ancient villages, caves, islands. Its incredible.

The game is so amazing. If you havent played it, get it. GC or PS2, they are both awesome.

I dont care if this is supposed to go to some other section of the forum, I dont go anywhere else, and I doubt anyone else does.

i only felt once i finished it like wtf what just happened? like it was all too quick resolved, but still a great great game, fucking sticking a rocket launcher, shottie, machine gun pistol grenades in a suitcase you cant see him carry, classic.

What's there to discuss ? The game owns. I'm just sad they didn't port this over to the PC... can you imagine moving/aiming with the keyboard/mouse ? *drool*

you'd prolly need a hefty setup to play re4 on pc. i liked everything about it except sometimes having to have to look out for ashley's back.

I cant wait till this game arrives...I had to order it since it was out of stock everywhere. Glad you enjoyed it.

ill probably buy it for my PS2.

Id only buy it if it came with a light gun, duck hunt style.

It is a phenominal game in all departments, but innovation and attention to detail make it go the extra mile. This is the first game Ive ever seen use interactive cutscenes so well. And all the stuff you can do is awesome. Like, once zombies were coming at me, and one chucked this hatchet or watever, I was shooting like a madman and one of my bullets hit the hatchet in midair, and it dropped to the ground all realistically and shit...Just lots of moments like that. Tho right now im really frustrated, cuz im at the point where you pick whether u go left or right, and when i go left, i get decapitated by 2 fair maidens with chainsaws, and when i go right, my old buddy el delago makes short work of Ashley... :( Any tips would be great.

Yep, great game. Got it for GC and finished it more than once, for the new guns and stuff. Just got it for PS2 today.

You're not even 1/4th through the game. Its SOOOOOOO long, but SOOOOO good.

I went right, i think...I forget...just keep trying.

How long is it? Is it like if I play a couple hours a week, will i be finished in 6 months?

I played a couple hours a day, and then went on a 4 hour spree one day and finished it. Took me 16 hours to beat.

Playing Metal Gear Solid 3 now, so awesome.

MGS3 is the best tactical shooter ever. Its so freaking awesome =]

I hear its very heavy on story telling/cutscenes, which is a big plus for me...is that true?

I watched about an hour of straight cutscenes last night....it has a lot of cutscenes, a lot are really awesome though...but all MGS are full of cutscenes. I'm a MGS fanatic, although i didnt play the original Metal Gears, I want to though. MGS3 is so hard. The survival thing is kind of annoying.

I beat MGS3 on hard after beating on normal GOD DAMN was that shit hard then i tried Extreme or European Extreme (i forgot havent played in a while) and just gave up lol so i just stayed on hard and shot the frogs

Hehe, healing yourself saved me during the sniper firefight. (if you havent gotten that far, im not going to ruin it for ya).

I also recommend playing MGS1 and MGS2 before MGS3 so you know wtf is going on.. or MGS3 then MGS1 and MGS2 (the way it is in the story line).

Oh and milla i think QFT = Quite Fucking True, but i could be mistaken.

....I said I didnt play the original Metal Gears, not the Metal Gear Solids. I've been MGS2 multiple times, and beat MGS1 once. Both amazing games.

Oh, i mean don't get me wrong Milla is ok, but she isn't the greatest looking girl in the world. I thought Jill Valentine is 100 times better looking. I think if they didnt have a super hero girl type person the movie would own alot more with a male in the lead role.

ah, i misread. Metal Gear 1 and 2 were kick ass, fighting bigboss in outer heaven..see if you can get a SNES emulator and get those ROMS...at least i think it was for SNES and gameboy..could be mistaken though.
