Time for some new shades

Yeah, my oakleys lenses(stfu, you know who you are) got chipped a bit in my accident last year, so i finally decided to go out and get a new pair of shades.

there really is a large difference between a $200 pair and a $30 pair. You can feel it in the weight, frame design, and even the quality of them.

I can understand someone paying $200 for Oakley sunglasses because it is a very good product that if you take care of, you won't need to replace it for years after your purchase.

Cool Fool 01-03-2006 01:46 AM

yeah my friend sat on his oakleys

elstatec 01-03-2006 01:54 AM

i have really sensitive eyes. any form of sunlight/glare makes me squint, and that's ghey.

plus i have "floaters" so if im looking at anything of a solid color (ex. clouds/blue sky) these molecule strings float across. its hard to explain, but a lot of people will know what im talking about

I got hit in the eye with a frisby in 7th grade, went blind in that eye temporarily, then could only see everything in green then came back to normal but I have floaters. I didn't think it was from the frisbee though

i see several things, i think i see what you mentioned; they look like little cells floating across your vision. when looking at the sky i see dark blobs in my vision moving into a center point, as if they were being sucked in a vortex. sometimes i see bright flashing dots floating around, but the worst is when i used my monitor at 60hz for a few years straight, i think it left my vision mangled because objects in my vision would always seem to float back and forth or appear to be breathing.

Nyck 01-03-2006 12:38 PM

SHIZ DAWG YALLS GOT CATARACKS SMOKE SUM WEEDZ!

ps i know what you're talking about. You see some of the "juices" inside your eye.

yea I get that shit too. Bio class blows when we use microscopes, can tell whats real and whats "me". Some of it is like little hair like things, some are like cells, some are just flashing dots. Too much time wathcing TV and playing computer games, I guess

Unknown_Sniper 01-03-2006 03:40 PM

i was young, i didnt think much of it. it was stupid of me but whatever, it's gone and my vision is top notch compared to some.

CoMaToSe 01-03-2006 03:58 PM

In one eye, stuff is orange tinted. in teh other, stuff is bluish. I cant tell which is correct, if either. Neither, maybe.Whatever, it doesnt really matter
