WELL>... OUR landlord really really fucking sucks. FIRST she neglects our request to fix MULTIPLE issues with the house, such as the bathtub peeling to shit, faucets not working, heat at times not working.....(and her husband comes in and fucking jimmys it..). To top it off the downstaris is rented out by a younger family, and they are fucking loud... WE are talking 3am yelling loud.... THIS issue could simply be solved by 35 $ worth of sound deadening on our door connecting the 2.. yet she refuses to do so....

+ a few days ago she comes in with her husband, I am in the shower, and without warning just decides to "shut the warm water off:"... I was nearly instantly blasted in the shower with ice cold canadian winter water........

BUT NOW the bitch has crossed the line. My friends civic (EG6 replica hatch with an engine swap) is sitting in the driveway, looking good, no rust and neatly covered up... She calls my mom today and rudely declares "it is violating a bylaw"...... WHICH is a fucking outright lie. I checked the town bylaws online and they have nothing even remotely like this. (except a bylaw from 1970's which states you can not park a car on your front lawn which is rusting itself out.........This car is parked/ tucked away in the rear and is not rusting out in anyway.

SO now she gives me a single day to tell my freind to dump his car somewhere and he has no place to park....

I dunno about canadia, but here renters have some pretty nice rights, you should have a city/regional renters information office to get info on your rights.

Short, there are several things you could do. 1st thing is to look for another place. 2nd thing is, you can fuck with her depending upon if you gave her a security deposit or not. If you didn't, make her ask you for the rent money instead of giving it to her on time. Make the bitch work a lil' to get paid. Tell her to fix the faucet then perhaps she'll get paid. She has no legal right to turn off your utilities or to evict you. it's a lengthy process so if you feel like busting her ass a lil, play some games. Time is on your side with this one.

Well, I tried talking to her... she would not even listhen, as for the car, We went searching around and asked a newer freind of ours if we could use his driveway, he said yes and so we are, as for the repairs... Well, me and my mom have planned now to move out in 3 months or so. (I pay around 300 $ a month to live with my mom (voluntary payments as well) so when shit like this happens I tend to get mad.. ;).

fuck that shit I would not take ANY shit at all from my landlord if I were paying $300 a month.
Im gonna look into an apartment for school next year seeing how dorms cost 3x as much as an apartment and Ill be paying for school myself from now on. And if my landlord gave me shit like that I would show him the contract, show him where he voided it get my months rent back and GTFO.
