Lost?!?!
So I had to go get some books for work yesterday, but rather than go down the road with all the traffic, I thought I'd take a "shortcut" because the road I need runs parallel to the road I use to get there that was backed up.
Needless to say I ended up in downtown ann arbor, near U of M campus and then out to BFE. I refused to turn around because soon enough, I KNEW I would hit a road that I was familiar with. Well I saw alot of roads that looked familiar to canton, near where I live. well The Yellow Dot Indicates where lovely Dynamic Edge Inc Resides. The Red Star indicates where I wanted to go (Borders in ArborLand) The green dot indicates where I finally gave up driving and turned back around to get onto US 23 My 30 minute trip ended up an hour and a half adventure loney: loney: biggrin: biggrin: Jesus! |
HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW!!! Sounds like something I would do ... in fact it sounds like something I've done. Great story. Thanks for the laugh.

Nyck, did you always live there? If you grew up in an area, you should know how to navigate through it.
I'm trying to think of a time where i really got lost. When i visited my brother in N.C. (when he was in the military) i couldn't navigate my way for shit. Of course it helped that he was driving but for the week i was there, everything looked confusing. When i go to see Pops in Florida, i have no problems there. Sometimes i just take his 'stang for a ride and have no trouble finding my way back. Guess it depends on the area really. |
I have lived in michigan all my life, but most of my travels have been north, east and south of me. West into ann arbor has all these 1 way streets and roads that turn into different roads. Alot of the roads are also only 1 way. I have also Never drove out in that area before in my life, save the mall that is next to my work.
I was unaware that E. Stadium turned into Washtenaw There for I never turned on to it, I just kept going and then got trapped in one way street hell. Red is what I should have done, Blue is what happened |
wow dude thats sad you've never drove out of michigan?
