They do that in most places down here too...With the exception of McDonalds - But If I'm buying fastfood, i'll be using the drive-thru - I only eat that sick shit for convenience (im fuking lazy) and somewhat for price.... |
yeah i've known about this for a while now...theres no way to escape germs and bacteria unless you live in a bubble so whatever.

I agree, i drink that shit so fast |
I freeze toilet water and use it for my drinks
|
I'm not really too suprised to be honest, I used to work in burger king. the ice holder there was open all day (the lid was never used) Ice was only changed once the ice had run out (maybe only once or twice a day). So that same ice was collecting bacteria thoughout the day.
On your comment trip... At BK I used to get bollocked for "topping up" the drinks (adding aditional topups to the drinks to fill up the cups once the S/R/L button had been pressed. The rest of the cup should be filled up with ice. However on average the machine would only spit out half a cup of liquid (coke/fanta or whatever) into the cup, the rest was expected to be ice! |

Also you are right, germs are everywhere and they cannot be avoided. It helps not to think about it lol. |
That's nice and all, but it's not like everyone who drinks a tasty beverage from a fast food restaurant will get sick.
99% of all bacteria on this planet cause no diseases or illnesses in humans. It's only that 1% that cause problems, also keep in mind everything has plenty of germs on it, I bet you could find some fecal coliform on your keyboard, remote, mp3 player, you could find a lot of bacteria on things. It's always important to keep things like this in perspective. |
haven't gotten sick yet...
|
but how many people go off and lick their keyboard, mp3 player, or remote? Ecoli is in that 1% that can kill people and they found it in the ice.
|
Myth busters did a thing on this bacteria before. Only they used toothbrushes placed in a bathroom, and one straight from the package. All of them including the one from the package came up positive. The bacteria there looking at is common as all fuck and your probalby touching 43 things right now that a are covered with it. Toilet water was probably cleaner since rotated more often, and the bowls are cleaned far more often than then ice machine.

but how many people have died of e. coli from ice? probably very few if any. If we're gonna fret over ecoli it'd be smarter to address the way most people get it, from improperly cooked meat. |
Ecoli almost killed both my dogs this summer. They got it from my towns drinking water. I was lucky I was gone for those 2 weeks or else I would have got really sick as well.
As for other bacteria yeah, of course its everywhere. If I didnt have all the bacteria in my mouth that I did I would probably get wicked sick. |
Your body has evolved over time to beat bacterias....I wouldn't worry too much, I mean we all knew already that fast food places, no matter the food, health & safety rating, are pretty sick fucking places...
They say everytime you open a door with the handle, you're touching at least 7 men's penises....and rubber escalater handles are rolling in that shit, don't ever touch those. |
wtf
|
upon hearing this, i am going to try to hardly eat fast food..
my friend almost died from e coli when he was younger, and i dont really want to. |
adds a kick to the drink
|
they just don't pee in the soup they also pee in the ice machines

not really, It adds a kick to your stomach after you get it. Then you starts pissing from your ass. Its horrible. now, aids in your drink that adds a kick.

No meat is actually ever microwave cooked |
from what i've heard it only kills people with weak immune systems, ie: babies, old people, etc. it only makes regular people sick like the flu. That's what I've heard, so I'm not too worried about it, although I was terrified of it when I first heard about it.
|
me and my roommates are all sick as fuck i feel like shit

USDA Grade D "Fit for human consumption" For Christ's sake, if you have to even put that on the box, don't serve it to people. BTW, Jamaica is awesome if you're staying on one of the resorts. I stayed at the Royal Caribbean a few years ago. Once you go off the resorts, its kind of depressing. Oh and don't get busted smoking weed off the resorts. They'll stick you in a Jamaican jail and extort money out of you in exchange for your release. |

Unlike schools such as UMass Amherst that has dining halls which have been rated as a 4 star restruant my school scrapes leftovers out of the dumpster and feeds us that shit as "meatloaf" |
