I'm in AP calculus, its really hard.

Basically that symbol just means take the antiderivative.

can't stand calculus...im more of a grade 9/11 type math guy...i forget what was in it but iw as good in those grades and terrible in 10 and 12.

i did it first year of college...but now i totally forget how to do it.

ive had it and it was pretty tough.

ive actually had a shit load of math and accounting ... i stopped math at "discrete mathematics".

Did that shit in college. Forgot it all by now.

Doing AP Statistics now. dont have a clue shit what is going on, just want to pass the class so I don't have to take a math in college.

calc is a bitch, took it senior year in HS, AP Calc, though it was Calc I at OK State, independently, and online

You know what rocks ? Those advanced general mathematics classes: we had to take one alongside calculus before discrete math in computer science and it was actually fun to do! Please don't kill me! lol... biggrin:

Isnt calculus really helpful for things such as business solutions?

it's over rated. In college they make it seem like it's sooooo important to every major. No lie, one can solve for the cure of cancer or even the meaning of life by using calculus.

i dont plan on taking calc in college. I'm in Trigonomety and once i pass that i should have all the math needed under my belt for my degree

I think most students have to take at least Stats.
