How to become smarter
 

This was in the globe and mail today and found it interesting.

It is based off some BBC show that insists if you follow some of these things you can become smarter in 7 days.

-Take a shower with your eyes closed and brush your teeth with your "wrong" hand
-Take a different route to work.
-Do puzzles or Sudoku, then take a walk
-Pick words out of the dictionary and use them on a daily basis (obvious)
-Don't consume caffeine or alcohol.
-Have oily fish for dinner and either cycle, walk or take the bus into work (the next day)
-Go to yoga, Pilates or some meditation class and talk to someone you don't know.
-Memorize your grocery list.

Being stunned all the time isn't so bad.

First one is strange though...don't know why having a shower with your eyes closed stimulates the brain.. oOo:

Eyes closed AND covering your ears makes things feel more relaxing or something like that. oOo:

Simple. Play games like SET (http://www.setgame.com/set/index.html), complete Sudokus, read challenging material and do things you would otherwise avoid.
